Recent Florida vacation rental reviews

We spent Thanksgiving in B301 with our family of 6. Late arrival was no problem, and we found the room to be clean and neat. Plenty of extra linens and sleeping options for everyone, the kids loved the hallway bunks which they chose over the spare bedroom. We found the kitchen to be stocked with everything you generally need to prepare meals, but it could have more. The room is simple, and a bit cheap on the decor side of things, but that's our opinion. Bathrooms were clean and functioned properly. In November the beach was still warm enough to swim in, but the pools were a bit cold, including the one heated pool on the 2nd level which is heated. With such a large building a solar pool heater option would be easy, and help keep them warm all year long. The hot tubs were fine. The kids play areas were chilly but the kids still enjoyed spending a few minutes there each day, in the summer they are probably a blast. The parking structure is fantastic, it connects right to the room passage, so if you are on floor 3, you can park on 3 and use the supplied carts to unload easily. There are plenty of elevators on each side of the building. Room numbers starting lower, like 301 is closest to the beach, where 330 would be further from the beach and view, we were very pleased with the view of B301 which was practically on the beach. Gas grills are supplied throughout the pool area for cooking, and there are grocery and department stores within a few miles. 3 large gift shops within walking distance. Overall the stay was pleasant, and relaxing, exactly what we wanted. We had several issues booking our vacation this year due to the hurricanes, but Vacasa was great about allowing us to change our reservation 3 times to get exactly what we wanted. We have found that Vacasa is easy to deal with and will continue to book through them in the future.

Find a Florida vacation rental, beach house, or condo

The Sunshine State is unlike any other, and time spent in a Florida vacation rental will prove to be just as unique! In Florida, you'll find everything from major cities to white sand beaches to historical architecture to the Everglades, where alligators outnumber people. Florida is almost entirely a peninsula and boasts the longest coastline in the United States, bordered to the west by the Gulf of Mexico and to the east by the Atlantic Ocean.

Exploring the Florida panhandle, Emerald Coast, and state capital

The Florida Panhandle includes long stretches of visitor-friendly resorts, beachfront Florida vacation rentals, and lively towns like Destin and Panama City. The blue-green waters lapping the sandy shores give this beautiful region its name: the Emerald Coast. We offer a variety of beautiful vacation homes on the Emerald Coast, whether you're visiting with family or planning a romantic getaway.

The state's capital, Tallahassee, is in the northernmost part of the state. Go horseback riding or ATV mudding in the Apalachicola National Forest, or get up close and personal with alligators and American bald eagles at the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. To the southeast is Jacksonville, where you can get nose-to-nose with a lion at The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, or simply stretch out and sunbathe on Neptune Beach.

Find paradise at a vacation rental on Florida's western coastline

The western coastline boasts lighthouses and untouched marine habitat at the Big Bend Seagrasses Aquatic Preserve, along with some spectacular oceanfront Florida vacation rentals. Just a little further inland, the Orlando area is home to Micky and Minnie at The Magic Kingdom, and witches and wizards at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Anna Maria, Bradenton, Holmes Beach, and the other cute towns near Tampa each offer something special for those in search of a tropical escape. Colorful vacation rentals and pristine beaches make this gulf coast area a prime beach destination. A little further south, you'll find the Fort Myers Beach area, home to some of Florida's prettiest beaches and most delightful resorts.

Florida's Atlantic coast and the Florida Keys

On the eastern coastline, take part in spring break festivities at Daytona Beach and Fort Lauderdale, or watch a rocket launch at the Kennedy Space Center. Conga line your way down to Florida's hottest nightclub's in Miami, watch The Miami Heat battle it out on the basketball court, eat excellent cuisine in Little Haiti, or lounge under palm trees in trendy South Beach.

The southern portion of the state is primarily made up of the Everglades (including the iconic Everglades National Park), and at the southern-most tip is the Florida Keys, which include strings of tropical islands, posh resorts, and a never-ending beach party on Key West.
