Recent California vacation rental reviews

We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood to see the movie colony historic homes as well as a beautiful big park. Close to downtown restaurants. Hot tub and pool worked great.

Good location close to the ski resorts and close enough but good distance from the main part of South Lake Tahoe so more peaceful. Cozy cabin!

We stayed for a weekend with 2 pups and 4 adults. The place is quiet and clean. Has some good amenities like a full set of dryer/washer and a pretty good dishwasher. Some of the pans have some heavy scratching of the non-stick so you may want to bring your own but the kitchen is pretty well stocked which is nice. The hot water never ran out even with 4 people which is rare for Tahoe so that's a big plus. Bathrooms are clean and lots of towels. The only negative I have was that in the 2nd bedroom, the heater vent rattles when it's on. Shifting the dampers didn't really do anything to stop the air from blowing directly at your head so I woke up with a dry throat every morning and it was a bit hard to fall asleep. Maybe rotate the pillow to the end of the bed instead if you're a light sleeper like me. Overall it was a pretty good stay and would come here again.
