Nice setting, clean house with hot tub and sauna. Also enjoyed the general Sea Ranch amenities like the pools and the Lodge

The location was amazing, great views from the hill, very quiet and great outdoor space. The house is new, modern, has all the appliances and kitchen accessories you'd need for your stay. The dining and living room furniture is modern and perfect. The only drawback which might refrain me from renting this house again is the bed. First the king size bed is too big for such a small room, no space to have your suitcase open as it covers the only space to walk around. The close is small. A queen size would be better in this room, still tight but the bedroom would feel less crowded. The mattress is not great so if you have back problems it's something to consider. The pillows are very uncomfortable, they don't give any neck support and the bedsheets are pilly, and it seemed they are made of synthetic material not cotton. We asked for better sheets and Vacasa brought us queen size sheets so we could only use the flat sheet. The listing says it's a king size bed, not sure why they would bring us queen size sheets then. I'd also provide nice/softer towels. :) The kitchen was stocked with basic things like salt, pepper, oil and coffee although we brought our own. I loved the options of having a French press, a nice Keureg (which we don't use) and a brewing coffee machine. The hot tub is a very nice feature to have in the house. Check in and check out was very easy.

The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean which is our first priority in enjoying a rental. The house was nicely laid out. Here are the things we think you should consider regarding our stay and the stay of future guests: 1. The master bedroom sliding glass door and second bedroom window were not locked when we arrived. 2. Regarding the kitchen: - There was only one extra garbage liner for the kitchen garbage - We would have liked to have had a new kitchen sponge rather than what appeared to have been a used one - There was no kitchen dish rag - There was only one kitchen drying towel which was not absorbent and basically just spread the water around - The coffee pot was filthy and we had to clean it before use - The stove top glass cleaner bottle was empty 3. There were no Kleenex boxes in the house 4. Many of the lights in the house were either burnt out or did not work 5. The beds were hard and uncomfortable 6. Many of the window screens were in disrepair 7. There were a lot of cobwebs in the windows and screens Please don't take my comments as a scathing review. They are just observations which may be helpful to you. In fact we enjoyed our stay and would rent this same dwelling again. It was a very cool house. I hope this helped. Regards, Tim
