The house itself is beautiful. Gorgeous view, quiet and relaxing. Will definitely come back!
JENNIFER, H. | Dec 2025
Every year my family goes to Leavenworth using Vacasa. The place we normally use was booked so I went with Ridgeview Retreat. I always get nervous going to new spaces because I have young adult (and kind of spicy) children, a spirited little 3 year old grand daughter and a husband who gets over stimulated and needs to check out a few times during the trip. Also because I have such a big family thebkitchen utensils is always a worry so I bring my own pans, knives and things like a strainer; well I didn't need to us any of it!! This place had everything I needed and then some. The owners reached out before our trip, offered an early check in and wanted to make sure the cleanliness was up to our standard- made me feel very well taken care of. On day of check out they also reached out and wished us safe travels home- that truly made all the difference. Now the property. The pictures DO NOT do it justice. There are 3 stories and SO much space. Plenty of blankets, pillows- a lot of sitting room everywhere- not cramped at all and we had a couple of family members that were not going to come originally that ended up being available (brother, nephew and another one of my daughters) and there truly was more than enough room for everyone. We had people playing ping pong and air hockey down stairs, other people watching movies on the main floor, littles making gingerbread houses at the dining room table and 3 of the grown children (2 18 year olds and a 20 year old) laughing and catching up on the 3rd floor (where the bunk beds are). There a multiple balconies for people to just step outside and get fresh air a little bit. The hot tub was clean and warm- they provided towels specifically for the hot tub which was really nice as well. You're about a half an hour from Leavenworth which was fine because all of the good vacation home style units are. We didn't get snow unfortunately but also all 3 cars were awd or 4wd optional which you will need if it's a heavy snow. I couldn't figure out how to login to the streaming services but it was not that big of deal because we aren't big tv people when on vacation and there were dvd's available for the early morning cuddles with my little granddaughter while we waited for everyone else to wake up (we watched Bolt which she was fine with). Also the appliances- everything worked really well which isn't always the case (huge washer and dryer that seemed newer, dishwasher, microwave) All in all this was a pretty perfect space for our family getaway and I highly reccomend this property.

Cozy home, quiet neighborhood. It was nice having a grocery store and diner close by.

Find a beautiful vacation rental in Washington

The Evergreen State may have a reputation for rain, but your disposition will always be sunny when you spend time in a Washington vacation rental. The spirit of the Pacific Northwest thrives in every corner of the state, from the forests to the oceanfront cliffs to the Central Washington wineries. Blaze your trail in Washington—book a vacation rental for your next visit and experience the magic for yourself.

Best vacation spots on the Washington Coast

In the southwestern corner of Washington sits the Long Beach Peninsula, an aptly named vacation hub with miles of sandy shoreline, charming coastal towns, and some truly jaw-dropping scenery and state parks. Work your way up the coast, and you'll find many of the Pacific Northwest's best beaches, including Moclips, Westport, and Port Angeles. The mighty trees and stunning cliffs of the Washington Coast set the scene for a truly magnificent beach house getaway.

Explore Seattle, the Olympic Peninsula, and the San Juan Islands

Heading north, visitors can board a ferry for the unique experiences awaiting the San Juan Islands. Enjoy the peace and solitude of a long bike ride around Lopez Island, or take in some world-class whale watching as you paddle around Puget Sound in a sea kayak. Vacasa offers vacation rental options in the Seattle area, too, including many throughout the secluded Olympic Peninsula, where you'll be tucked away in the woods yet within easy reach of the city.

Central Washington vacation spots in Chelan, Leavenworth, and the Gorge

Central Washington holds a very different kind of charm. Our Lake Chelan vacation rentals border the 50-mile-long body of water, setting the scene for boating, fishing, and wine tasting at the plentiful local wineries. A little to the west, Leavenworth boasts not just small-town charm, but one of the nation's most celebrated Oktoberfests. Be sure to book your Leavenworth cabin with plenty of time in advance if you're visiting in October—rentals tend to fill up quickly!

And along the southern border of the state, the majestic Columbia River Gorge awaits. Less crowded than the busy "waterfall alley" area across the river, many consider the Washington side of the Gorge to be even more beautiful. Soak up a postcard-perfect view of Mt. Hood from the small town of White Salmon, or book your riverfront Columbia Gorge vacation home near lovely Stevenson.

Experience all of this for yourself from the comfort of a Washington vacation rental.

Do you offer long-term rentals in Washington?
