Pros:
* Beautiful view
* Home was clean
* The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, and it was nice that the mattress was adjustable with a remote.
* Kitchen was well-equipped with pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware
* Bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and soap
* Convenient location close to Hoodsport grocery, coffee shops, and restaurants
Cons:
* The home could use some cosmetic maintenance overall
* The kitchen cabinet drawers were difficult to open, and several handles were loose and felt flimsy. We had to be very careful when using them. This appears to be a recurring issue mentioned by other guests and does not seem to have been fully addressed yet
* The furnace is quite loud when it turns on and makes a noise similar to someone opening a side door or footsteps, which was disruptive while watching a movie and during the night while sleeping, and initially made us feel a bit uneasy. Additionally, the vent in the main bedroom makes a ticking sound after the heat cycles on. It took some time for us to get used to the noise.
* Not a big deal, but it would be nice if the checkout time was 11am instead of 10am.

This two bedroom home is well located in a quiet neighborhood not far from the golf course. It is well appointed and the upstairs bed is comfortable. We didn’t use the other bedroom. The heating is the only downside to this place. We visited in winter and it was very cold. No one had turned the heat on prior to our arrival. It has a couple wall heaters, no heater in the back bedroom. It has a wood stove but wood was not provided and we arrived too late to buy any for the first night. Looked like a great set up for nice weather though with a small fire table out in the front and a bbq in the back. The garage was super clean with a ping pong table and heaters.
