Recent Orcas Island vacation rental reviews

We loved the peacefulness of the location and the view of the water from the house. Being able to access the peninsula via the wood steps was a plus. And, the location on the island was perfect due to vicinity to Obstruction State Park and Moran State park.

We loved our stay in the Harbor View Suite. It fit our family perfectly. The home was well kept and very clean. We had a sick child upon arrival and they let us check in a little early so she could rest and it helped a lot. From check in to check out everything ran very smoothly. We were very grateful to have a place so comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed. We even had a water view. So beautiful! We can’t wait to come back.

Book yourself a cozy Orcas Island cabin rental in Washington’s remote archipelago and let the fun begin. Located along the San Juan Islands, Orcas Island is 57 beautiful square miles of scenic hills, lakes, sea views, and forests right out of a postcard. Serene and remote, you’ll sink into instant relaxation once you reach the sandy shoreline.

Find a quiet corner to escape to with a perfect pet-friendly cottage rental or waterfront stay to suit your style, with amenities like ocean views, hot tubs, wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, beach access, and more. The endlessly scenic Pacific Northwest is equal parts restful and entertaining, offering the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and loved ones. Lace up your hiking boots for a long walk beneath the trees, gear up for a kayak ride on the waves, or pick up the tempo with Seattle’s city attractions just a ferry ride or two away.

How to Get to Orcas Island

Similarly to its neighbor, Lopez Island, Orcas Island is accessible only by boat or plane. However, the trip is made much easier by the Washington State Ferry system, which services Anacortes and all four islands that make up the San Juan archipelago. If you’re planning to go by car, simply take the Seattle ferry to Anacortes and then the Anacortes ferry to Orcas Island. The payoff is well worth the effort, as the ferry rides offer breathtaking views of the surrounding islands dotting the water.

Things to Do on Orcas Island
