Great location. Nice quality stuff. Enjoyed it very much and would def stay there again!!

We really liked the house. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off before going inside, the deck looked new, the view of the ocean was nice from the decks and house, the laundry worked great, kitchen appliances worked well, and the bathrooms were nice. Beds and comforters were pleasant to sleep on. Access to the beach directly from the back yard was great. A few small things need repaired or replaced but that is expected at an oceanfront house and it being a rental. None of those items caused us any concern. Overall, very nice property and we would rent here again.

Rodanthe is the northernmost village on Hatteras Island, which is part of North Carolina’s Outer Banks. Made famous for its stint in the cinematic adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel, “Nights in Rodanthe,” the sleepy coastal village is every bit as unique as Hollywood portrays it. Sitting on a narrow strip of land 30 miles out in the middle of the ocean, Rodanthe is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Pamlico Sound to the west.

Rodanthe’s sunrises and sunsets are among the best in the world and can be viewed from virtually any vacation rental, no matter where it is located. Step out in the morning for a stroll along the tide, and your evenings with a fresh seafood dinner. Keep close to the coast with a Rodanthe beachfront home.

Things to do

Rodanthe is a popular destination for fishermen, surfers, kiteboarders, and windsurfers, as well as visitors who just enjoy relaxing and strolling the quiet beaches. The Rodanthe Pier is available for fishing and sightseeing, as are several close by restaurants and shops. A grocery store and additional dining and shopping opportunities are 20 miles to the south.
