The condo is clean, cozy, and has all your necessary amenities. Perfect for a romantic couple getaway, but you also have space for 4 people total if you desire. View of the ski slopes is present beside the cozy fireplace. Even the bed was comfortable upstairs and I more then enjoyed cracking the window for the refreshing mountain air. In addition to the comforts of the condo, you are close to it all. From an amazing 3.6 mile hike just outside the community, the ski slopes nearby, to the grandfather mountain winery with live music and picturesque views, to shopping/eating/site seeing blowing rock, banner elk, sugar mountain, seven devils, and valle crucis. So many choices of activities for everyone. Our favorites this trip were the hikes, fine dining at The Table, lunch hot spots, and shopping in the unique shops that included the general mast store to stock up on the old time candies. I can’t wait to return for new adventures. This condo will not disappoint!

Experience the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina

The Smokies’ signature blue range guards North Carolina’s western edge, making it part of the fabled Appalachian region. A North Carolina vacation rental is the perfect spot for exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which sits on the border shared with Tennessee. One one side of the park, there’s Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and the other hubs for Tennessee Smoky Mountains vacations. On the North Carolina side, you’ll find cabin rentals throughout Bryson City, Cherokee, and Maggie Valley, while an Asheville stay is perfect for those who want the culture and dining of a bigger city.

Another staple of Appalachia is the legendary Blue Ridge Parkway, an interstate highway that’s famous for its fall colors and breathtaking mountain vignettes. The Parkway’s southwestern end point is found in Cherokee, North Carolina, and it ambles through Asheville on its way north through the Pisgah National Forest and finally up through Virginia. The Parkway is more than just a scenic road, though; it’s the beating heart of Appalachian culture in North Carolina and Virginia, and, if you’re staying at a North Carolina cabin rental, it’s a must.

Relax on North Carolina’s Outer Banks

If you’re looking for a North Carolina beach vacation, one of our Outer Banks rentals is a perfect choice. Experience the beauty of the state’s coast from the comfort of a beach house in Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, or Topsail Island—among many other choices. Your options for fishing, horseback riding, sightseeing, and great coastal dining are pretty much endless at the Outer Banks.
