This studio has enough space for as many as four people, though with so many activities nearby you may not want to spend too much time inside!

Have a seat in the living area and gaze out the windows, or step into the full kitchen to whip up a quick meal. This efficient kitchen has all the major appliances you might find in your own home—even a dishwasher for easy clean-up—so cooking will be a snap!

When it's time to rest up for tomorrow's adventures, you will find two queen-size beds and a fold-out sofabed that can accommodate as many as four guests. You will also have your own walk-in closet and a full bathroom. The apartment was very nice, good beach view, A/C, kitchen, bathroom everything works good. Clean mattress and towels. The building has game rooms, nice pool, a pretty decent gym. In general the experience was good.

I don’t know if I would say there was much at all that I “Loved” about our stay at Top of the Gulf 319. The room was not at all what we were expecting and I assure you I will NEVER stay here again. The Condos themselves were located in a good spot but were having a lot of Reno & work done so had a Large crane in the parking lot which minimized the parking in one of the busiest weeks there with it being Bike Week. Then when we were able to check in to our room we noticed several things that were not pleasing at all. The Blinds on the windows did not have a handle to close the blinds, there were probably about 10 blinds missing also which even if it could be closed wouldn’t have mattered therefore there was no sleeping in on Vacation because the Sun woke us up every morning bright & early. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small & had hardly any room move. Couldn’t even open the left side cabinet as that was where the Hot Water heater was & the rest of it was dirty & almost looked rotted out. The other cabinet that housed towels you could barely open without slamming into the side of the Toilet. The Kitchen was a joke & the eyes of the stove were rusty looking & not clean at all. The oven was like a easy bake oven as far as size being extremely small itself. There is no way 2 people could have fit in the kitchen at one time so that shot down our plans & hopes of being able to cook breakfast & lunch in the room. There was a closet that house an iron, etc but was unorganized & messy looking like stuff was just thrown in there.

The bed next to the kitchen was close up to the edge of the overhang of the cabinet that it was almost impossible to get in from that side & had to be cautious not to hit your head when you sat up.

There was a door with a lock on it on the wall next to the dining table that when you opened it it was nothing but asbestos!!! Extremely dangerous even for adults but God forbid a child would have been in the room. That door should have a Padded lock on it at all times.

The 2 cabinets in the unit were missing knobs on each one.

The unit was VERY outdated and not kept well at all!!!

We checked in at 4pm and around 4:20 or so a lady knocked on the door stating she was from Vascasa inspection team & said she was Sorry she was running late. She barely did a sweep of the room, gave 2 beach towels & left. Not a very through inspection. I called the number she gave to us around 5:06pm & spoke with a guy named Scott and had told him about the Blinds not having all of them and that we didn’t want to get woke up every morning. He stated he would put a ticket in & have someone come out to check it out.

Around that same time we got a knock on our door telling us that the Cooling unit was out in the building & that we would have to shut our AC off & wouldn’t be able to turn it on until the next day but that they would let us know when.

We left the unit around 6:30 or so to go have dinner & meet friends who were in town also. As we are eating dinner I get a call from VACASA, couldn’t understand the ladies name, but she was telling me that the power is off in our building & that we were not going to be able to keep our reservation! I advised her that we had already checked in and that when we left there was power. She stated oh ok well we will just leave it alone then. Not barely 2 minutes later I received an email from a Cassandra telling me the same thing and that she had another place for us to go to that I just needed to respond back to her. I responded back to her with the same information I had told the lady that called me. No response back so I became a little concerned so I called VACASA again. I spoke with a guy named Joe & we went back & forth and he could never get a hold of anyone that could tell him a definite answer if the power was off or not. Granted all this time I have ordered my food for dinner had taken 1 bite out of it & spent the rest of the dinner on the phone with VACASA trying to figure out something all to be told that I should just drive back to our condo & see what’s going on. So had to cancel all of our plans for that evening on our first night in Panama City.

We get back to our Unit & could see that all the lights were ON & asked the Security officer what was up with the power & he stated it was only on floors 5-8. We were on the 3rd Floor!!! It wasn’t the WHOLE building as I was told over the phone! To say I was Mad was an understatement!!! I called back to VACASA to advise of the situation & spoke with Steven. He was an extremely nice guy & tried to help as much as he could. He gave me a credit for the trip but still didn’t take away the fact that our night was ruined. He was advised of the blinds situation also as well as the AC matter & stated he would be in an Urgent ticket! That was on Wednesday 04/28 & I have YET to hear from anyone regarding these matters!!! Thank Goodness our Window was able to be opened & that there was a nice breeze at night.

I have pictures of the unit including the dented walls, rusted shower curtain rod & molded shower curtain as well as all the other things mentioned.

We had to spend a lot more money eating out than we wanted to because the pictures shown on the site are very deceiving.

I would not waste my time & money staying in this Unit again. The property itself was nice but the unit is where we were suppose to live for 4 days.

We hated it! I do not suggest staying here! Our room was dirty after waiting all day! Then made us wait all evening longer for them to clean it when we asked for a new room. One of the beds was broken to where we couldn’t use it! Knobs missing off two of the draws. And the comforters wasn’t even clean! The smells was unreal the whole time we was here. They don’t have the towels that they say they do. I asked many times for a new room which they refused me! At which I have pictures of proof of the room when we got there. Once again I DO NOT SUGGEST STAYING HERE! And their way of fixing it was giving me $70 buck off my bill?! It didn’t help!

This is our 6th year in a row staying at Top of the Gulf with Vacasa. We love the location and the pool. It is on the less busy side of Panama City and that is why we love it so much. Not a lot of traffic and not overly crowded beach.

This place was great! Very clean and great view of the beach. Only wish they would’ve supplied more trash bags and other toiletries since we were staying an entire week.

Ok, the view over the beach is beautiful, however, the place is run down and needs renovation urgently. For example one of the beds is super saggy that it feels you lay in a hammock; a missing baseboard exposes left nails in the floor that are no fun to step in barefoot; there is no chance to close the curtain and if tried, pieces of it fall off; the drawers have missing knobs, which makes it almost impossible to use them ...
At this point the apartment is not really recommendable.

Not satisfied with the cleanliness of the unit at all. (319) is so old. All the amenities is falling apart and the restroom is filthy. The toilet seat is so old and filthy that I can’t even dare to sit on it. The sofa pullout bed is so stained and the sheet did not change. The broken pieces of the sofa bed is still not fix from the last reviewer. The only thing that work in the unit is the AC. I highly not recommend this location at all. I found out from other renters in level 2 and 8 have AC problems and refrigerator problems. This whole building have a lot of unit for rent but then who’s know which one is good? Be Aware of Hidden Fees - All tbhe parking need to pay $20 fees and the laundry and dishes need to be clean even you pay for cleaning fees.

We were very disappointed in the room we were given! The bathroom was a joke. Painting chips were all over the bed. The whole place smelt like mildew also 20$ to park is ridiculous bc the security isn’t there all night! I will never book through this place again.

i wouldn't say GREAT, but sufficient. Our room needed closet space and the wait to use of elevators was painful. Other than that, the rooms were nice and the property was in a great location and everyone was friendly.

A few friends and I booked this room for our spring break and were generally quite pleased. The place was clean, with a great view of the ocean and within walking distance of the beach. We would definitely stay again and recommend the place to anyone looking for an inexpensive, relaxing stay in PCB.

Great place right in the beach. It has all you need-but is really a hotel room with a small kitchen. So if you are looking for privacy from your travel companions-this is not for you! Comfortable beds, great view, wish there was a private balcony-and easy to find.

Our family of five stayed at this resort in July, 2016. We fit fairly comfortably and were quite pleased with the whole experience. I would recommend Top of the Gulf and this management company to anybody.

The hallway is nothing fancy but once you get into the rooms they are really nice. We stayed in 807 the first night and love the hardwood floors, toilet did move a little when u sit. But then the second night we was able to stay in our room 319 which we loved.. Perfect view.. Close to stairs and short walk to elevator. We ate at the snack shake by the pool and the bbq sandwich and cheese fries was real good. Shortest walk to the beach we have ever had. And they have a rinse station.. Sand is amazing and water was calm .. We have decided to come back in 2 months and we will be booking room 319

This is the 2 nd time we stayed in Top of the Gulf. We throughly enjoyed our stay both times. Both units we stayed in were great. Very friendly staff. Right on the beach, easy access with the kids!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were travelling with a group of 6 including children. The place was clean, people were friendly and it was very quiet. We will definitely stay again.

The stay was great...the only problem we had was at the gate. Was told we had to go to the rental company but all was worked out with call from Owner. Also, the room was great. Bathroom very small but work our okay kids were small. The pool was clean. The poolside grill was slow taking and serving food. All in all good place to stay.
