Recent Sequim vacation rental reviews

The first day I was there I saw this huge head sticking out of the water and as it moved I got the binoculars and realized I was looking at a giant sea lion with his head popped out of the water and his mouth open. That was cool to see and I loved watching bald eagles and deer in the yard. This view is everything here. The house itself is quirky. They added on the bedroom next to the garage which is on a tri-level floor and is the master. So weird to have the master go right into the garage. The bed was super comfy though. Also the downstairs room with the queen bed was also very comfortable but I did sit on the single bed in the third room just to see how it felt and it was as hard as a rock, lucky we didn’t have to use that room. If you are renting this place for a family gathering this isn’t for you. The oven range is from 1973 original and you can forget about a dishwasher. Everything washed by hand! Yikes! The downstairs bathroom is just a wash basin. There is no shower head so a bath is the only thing you can do in that one with no shower curtain either. The shower upstairs shares the laundry room. The house was well stocked with anything we needed. Vacasa is good in that sense. I think the value was good for this house but it certainly isn’t for everyone.

Our extended family had a great time at Windrift House. The location and views are spectacular and the house was warm and comfy.

We enjoyed our stay during the Thanksgiving holiday vey much - the place is just as depicted in the pictures. There was plenty of room for our group of three plus a dog and the views from the living room/kitchen and deck are spectacular. Though neighbors are near by, the place feels very private.
