Recent Texas vacation rental reviews

The property was amazing. The views and amenities far exceeded my expectations.

This was an amazing rental property. Beautiful home, and exceptional furnishings, electronics, appliances and various other additions. The kitchen was well stalked with silverware, snacks and coffee. The bedrooms had great aesthetic touches, and the beds were very comfortable. The rest rooms were well done and modern. All brass fixtures. The balconies were beautiful. The community was more than we expected. Great golf course, driving range, heated swimming pools, bars and very nice guests through out this community. We made many friends. We rented a golf cart and used it to travel around the expansive and private community. Their private beach was beautiful. You could easily rent beach chairs and umbrellas to lounge at the beach. The staff would bring you food and alcohol whether at the beach or the pools. Overall we will be back !

The house is awesome for a big group or girls weekend, or would be great for families!! There are TONS of beds, however, we all agreed the beds were not that comfortable. Having 4 bathrooms is really nice, but notably there is no full length mirror if you need that! There was a ton of parking, the porch space is awesome, the fire pits looked so fun, the inside is decorated really cutely. The towels and blankets are super soft and nice. There are a bunch of longhorn cows that will come right up to the fence and let you pet them, they are AWESOME and we loved them. If you’re considering Ubering, we could not get an Uber or Lyft to come this far out of downtown Fredericksburg to pick us up — keep that in mind if you’re wine touring! Also, since you’re in the country, there’s LOTS more bugs around. Overall, we would love to come back and spend more time (both in Fredericksburg and just enjoying this wonderful property)!

Texas Gulf Coast

In the Gulf Coast cities of Corpus Christi and Galveston, you can beach comb breathtaking shoreline, eat your fill of Gulf Coast shrimp, and fish or boat to enjoy those gorgeous water views. Separated by about 200 miles of coastline, these south Texas towns offer arts, culture, and a plethora of outdoor attractions.

Inland Texas

Inland about 200 miles, the Central Texas city of Austin is charmingly weird and wonderful. Austin is home to the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival, the University of Texas, museums, galleries, and a variety of hiking and biking trails along the gorgeous Barton Creek Greenbelt. About 200 miles down the highway, you'll find the town of Fredericksburg's wineries, barbecue, and cute cabin rentals in the heart of the Hill Country.

We also offer vacation rentals in downtown Houston and Dallas, close to both cities' professional sports stadiums and all the dining and nightlife you could ask for.

Everything is bigger in Texas. Come see why with a stay at one of Vacasa's Texas vacation rentals!
