Brought my sister here for the weekend as her bachelorette party and we both loved it!! The location is convenient for just walking to the tasting room and driving out to downtown. The Paris cottage was clean and the complimentary mimosa and breakfast choices were very appreciated. Instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow and overall the weekend was peaceful... would stay again for sure!!
We booked this cottage instead of going to Las Vegas as Vegas was WAY too expensive this summer (2021). It was the President cottage which is the third on the left. I was supposed to receive an email the morning of our arrival but never did. Not a big deal so I called the 800 number and the lady was very nice and apologetic to help me. Then still before check in time, I get a phone call from another lady saying that the dish satellite system was not working. She was EXTREMELY professional, apologetic, and willing to solve the problem immediately. Vacasa offered a partial refund that we were extremely happy with and even offered us a free wine tasting! Wow, just wow! I travel to many establishments and was blown away with their effort BEFORE WE EVEN STEPPED INTO THE ROOM! Nicely done and bravo!
After that, everything was great. Very comfy, cozy cottage that's just the right size like the other reviews say. I wish there were two bathroom sinks but that's being picky! One was perfect for us to share. Good hot/cold water and the AC worked exceptionally well. The bed was vey comfortable and the pillows were the same. (We read one review that said they were not so we took our own and didn't need them)! The ironing board is one of those small, portable ones so be ready to spend some extra time.
The kitchen comments on the sight are a little misleading but in a good way! They had coffee mugs, a few plates, wine glasses, bottle opener, dish soap, etc. We brought all of these items because the website led us to believe they didn't have them but they did. No big deal but important to note. Our unit had the Kuerig coffee cups and that was nice. The light, unhosted breakfast was some cereal, granola bars, etc. I understand the situation they are in as they are separate from the winery but this is an area for improvement (but their coffee did make it all much better).
Also, the view at the back is similar to a swamp yes BUT it is still relaxing to sit out. Be sure to check the citronella candle they have to see if water is in it. Ours did, and there were no matches. We had to buy matches down 290 at a gas station but there was water in ours so it was useless, but luckily we also bought bug repellent.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others if looking for a quiet, simple getaway. We will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Vacasa!
So this place is great for anyone looking to be away from town and have privacy. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The bathroom was nice and plenty of space and water pressure in the shower. The snacks in the room were a nice touch as well. Just a heads up though, it is not a bed and breakfast. There is no breakfast served at this location (they do have some juice in the fridge and have random pastries they can bring you if you desire. We weren't looking for that so it worked out anyway...but it would have set this place apart and probably given them 5 stars if they had some sort of hot breakfast option. Again, this is country living, so if you aren't up for the 15 minute drive into town...don't stay here. Otherwise, it's a great place!
