Considering it’s proximity to okemo and other mountains it’s generally perfect. Theres some structural concerns with the building itself which is not my domain however the stay was good, the house was clean and everything worked!

Day trips from Cavendish

Cavendish keeps the focus on a quiet home base while several recognizable Okemo Valley experiences sit nearby. These outings can be mixed into the trip according to the season, interests, and amount of time you want to spend away from the rental.

Okemo Mountain Resort

Okemo in nearby Ludlow supports a full mountain day, with skiing and snowboarding in winter and select warm-weather activities. It is a natural fit for active families, groups, and travelers building the getaway around mountain recreation.

Camp Plymouth State Park

Camp Plymouth State Park in nearby Plymouth offers a sandy beach and swimming area, boating access, picnicking, fishing, and a moderate one-mile round-trip trail. Plan it as a half-day or full-day warm-weather outing, especially for families and groups looking for an easy lake day.

President Calvin Coolidge Historic Site

The President Calvin Coolidge Historic Site in Plymouth Notch preserves the birthplace and childhood home of the 30th president along with a historic village, museum, walking trails, and picnic area. Give this a half-day and review current restoration and road information before visiting.
