we all loved the house and the location.
it was quirky and cool. we reached out in the beginning cause there were no clean towels or sheets on arrival. we cleaned our own stuff with the laundry machines on premises and had to buy some supplies. we loved the fireplace.
unfortunately we had to leave a day early cause the nor easter knocked power. so we had no lights or running water and almost got snowed in. thank god for the snowplow guy. he came twice.and we are sorry we had to leave a mess but we had no way to clean up. thanx for refund of cleaning fee. i gave a good public review.

This 1800's farm house provides great spaces for the family to gather. Well worn comfy furnishings for lounging around the fireplace while watching the snowflakes fall out the windows. Cozy seating around the TV is open to the big kitchen where we cooked comfort food while some played board games around the kitchen table. Nice Kitchenaid appliances, the big antique wooden island served as home to hors d'eouvres and buffet style meals. Every pot, pan and utensil you need are there. The big dining table gave us a place to enjoy the meals and the library is full of interesting books and games for all ages, as well as a twin sleeper sofa.
There are plenty of sleeping options and the 2 full baths were enough for our group.
Keep in mind, this is a historic home. Some windows are drafty, one side of the home stays warmer than the other but there is an electric portable heater to supplement. Full disclosure, it was literally zero degrees outside!
It is a kitschy and charming place...think Vermont Grandma style.
The listing says 4x4 may be needed. Take that seriously. We were lucky that the driveway was plowed upon arrival but 2 more days of continuous fluffy white flakes had us appreciating our VT winter appropriate vehicles.
Bromley and Magic Mt are super close. We also did Okemo and Mt Snow, both a 30-40 min drive.
Londonderry is a sweet little town with a grocery store, gas station and a couple great restaurants. We, the Moms, so enjoyed driving around from little town to little town shopping the unique country stores and tasting cheeses.
