Recent Vermont Lakes Region vacation rental reviews

We loved the house and location on Beebe Pond. We made use of all the entire space including the deck, the screened in dining room, the fire pit, the dock, the canoe, and the directions to hike Eagle Rock. We went berry picking, saw our first black bear, several geese, and we adore the loons on the lake. There was even a perfect thunderstorm one night. We did tons of fishing in the canoe, lots of swimming including some night dips. The house was excellent for hosting meals for visiting relatives and playing music and cards in the evenings. This is a super quiet location. A note of caution for people with limited mobility because the house has spiral stairs (but one bedroom and bathroom wouldn't need to use them) and getting to the lake is on a slope or a steep set of steps. It was absolutely perfect for us.

Loved the location, right on the mountain, very quiet, had the building to myself. Can't get any closer to the lifts, if it was ski season. Very convenient to all the activities in the area, Mountain Rd to Okemo peak, Jackson Gore, Buttermilk Falls, Fox Run Golf, downtown Ludlow, etc.

While we were sad that Memorial Day had to be spent inside due to rain, it was the PERFECT place to be for it. This place is full of ceiling to floor windows, allowing you to enjoy all the rain. We also started a fire during this time, played games, & read some of the many cool books they had. The only thing missing would have been the record player working (please get it a new needle, you have soooo many good records). We will be back at some point!
