Recent Quechee vacation rental reviews

We had an enjoyable stay at Quechee lakes and the Quechee club, but it was not all we hoped it would be. The condo itself was updated in the living area, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The Split AC units were very nice and super quiet. The Kitchen was tight but worked for our needs, as we were on vacation and did not do any large meals. The wifi was easy to use and the guest feature of the smart tv was easy to use. We were disappointed that the Vacasa team had not swept the outdoor patio area. There was some pealing sealing paint in the bathroom that I made the team aware of and they noted it. The windows could use a thorough cleaning on the outside. The lack of a washer and dryer in the unit was unfortunate. If I had known, I probably would have rented elsewhere even though there was coin-op laundry onsite in another building. As for the Quechee club, there was no real communication as a renter/guest how we access the facilities. A “how to” guide would have been helpful. We did not know that we had to “as renters / guests” sign up for a time to visit the pool starting at 6am on the day we wanted to visit. We called and got into the last slot 5:30-7:30pm. Visiting the beach was a bit easier but still unclear as to payment and what we could access. I think if all this is spelled out ahead of time it would have informed our decision as renters. We are not golfers so I did not inquire about that. We do ski though and wondered how things would work in the winter if we rented again. As a base to explore Quechee and surrounding areas this condo would fit your needs. There is work to be done in communicating with renters about availability and now to access the facilities a Quechee Club. Installing an washer and dryer would be a huge plus.

We enjoyed our stay here! Check-in and unlocking was smooth. The house was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Kitchen was well supplied, and we appreciated some of the little things that were provided, like paper towels, dishwashing liquid, salt and pepper, and plastic bags. We had one cool evening when we had a fire in the fire pit, and it was great to have firewood at hand, including kindling, and matches in the kitchen. The only thing lacking, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, was communication or description that told us there is no bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms. For most people that would not be a problem. For us, that may have changed our decision to stay there, because one of our party had a hard time with climbing stairs multiple times per night.

The cabin was excellent, and the location made it easy to enjoy the local area and the check in/out process was simple and efficient.
