My family of four plus our four legged baby stayed at Blue Mermaid this past weekend and we were not disappointed! This house was impeccably decorated, the beds were super comfy, and the artwork was exactly the laid back ocean vibe we were looking for. The owners clearly took a lot of care and consideration in the way the appointed the home, from the stunning light fixtures in every room to the very well stocked kitchen. We watched the sunrises and sunsets everyday. We went tidepooling at the beach, just a 5 minute walk from the house. We laid out all our sea treasures on the sunny back deck and listened to the sounds of our kiddos playing the ukelele (that was already at the house) to the sounds of the ocean. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for our kiddos and the hot tub was a delight for the whole family. The poured concrete in all of the bathrooms with their surprising colors was so special, especially because of the radiant floor heating. The staff at Vacasa made us feel like this was our home away from home and took care of answering all of our questions. The home was cozy and warm when we arrived and sparkling clean. We will definitely be back to visit Blue Mermaid again!
