We were pleasantly surprised by the house and its location and views. The house is close enough to town you can get to the grocery store and local restaurants quickly but far enough out to be very quiet and peaceful. It’s close enough to the sites like Brasstown Bald and Tallulah Gorge making it a great central location. The house was very clean and well thought out and all the decks made hanging outside a real pleasure. And the views! We hit the fall leaf change just right and we’re not disappointed. We got there at night in the rain which I would not suggest. The drive up the narrow road is a bit steep and winding so do yourselves a favor and get there during daylight to find your way. Just keep climbing. You’ll get there. My interactions with Vacasa went surprisingly well too as I had not dealt with a management company like this before. There were extras like dishwashing soap, laundry pods, etc. and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and some bakeware. Someone could stay for an extended visit and not need anything really except food. I would definitely go back. My family loved it!
