This place was an outstanding stay. We'd definitely be back if we come this way again. We felt comfortable and at home. The view was amazing. The location, the amenities, were all just right. I had to pry my wife off the couch on our checkout day.
We were super comfortable, but it is a cabin and not a home. Expect some minor things, such as needing to run a space heater in the main room. Bedrooms have baseboard heaters and thermostats which work well. The kitchen is basic, but on par with other rentals we've stayed at. Appliances all worked well. You won't run short on linens or basics - they supply you well. Hot water was never an issue (always a concern in the mornings with a teenager).
If the weather had been nicer, I don't know that I would have left the deck. I spent my mornings out there with my coffee enjoying the canal and the mountains. We didn't try the two supplied grills (charcoal and propane) this trip, but I considered using them. Outside spaces were beautiful and well-maintained.
It does share a property with the owners (whom we never saw). Parking was good for us, but would be tight for 2 cars. The driveway is shared with the owners. The cabin is down a few steps from the parking.
Walmart is 10 minutes away if you need something. Poulsbo is a fantastic little town with great restaurants and charms I did not expect.
All in all, I have this one in my favorites if/when we come back this way.

Amazing view and very private. Could use more signage for the address. Also a good deep cleaning. Fenced yard has many places a small to medium dog could escape through. We had to keep our 17 pound dog on leash while we enjoyed the deck and view. Bed was comfy. Well equipped kitchen. Some of the furniture needs replacing.

This was my second time staying at this property. There is a wonderful deck that overlooks Hood Canal. This time I got to see 2 submarines in transit in the canal! The kitchen is well appointed with nicer appliances and plenty of dishware. The furniture is a little worn and there is musty odor, but most of my time was spent outside in the nice fenced yard. There is a gas fireplace that I have not been able to enjoy due to no clear instructions. This place is nicely secluded and yet close to stores and restaurants. This property is a good fit for my needs.
