If you want a relaxing get away with a beautiful view this house is for you. House is well stocked with all kinds of necessities. One downside is only one bathroom and low water pressure.

This property is indescribable! We chose this location because it could accommodate three generations of our family, but we were blown away by all the unique surprises and features when we got there. There are two main buildings where guests can sleep. When we walked around the property, it was fun to spot the many statues that are integrated into the landscape. There is a fisherman statue by the pond, a man sleeping on the front lawn, and a police officer welcoming you as you arrive. I don’t even think we found them all! In the house, some of the bedrooms are located behind secret doors. We loved the adventure of finding all the secret hideaways. Speaking of hideaways, my kids were thrilled when they learned they could play in the train caboose! Kids games, movies, and puzzles were all provided in this air-conditioned space. There are even magnetic letters that can be used on the inside of the caboose walls! By the pool, there is a propane fire pit, a large dining table and enough comfy seats for the whole family. We spent most of our time outside at the pool, in the hot tub, and fishing by the pond. I could go on and on about the real airplane, 5 gazebos, acres of land, chapel and pool house (with sauna!) The kitchen was well stocked with high quality cookware and kitchen tools. Overall, our stay at The Hidden Haven felt inviting and warm, like staying at an old friend’s home. The hosts really take hospitality to the next level. We can’t wait to return to The Hidden Haven again in the future!

Highly recommend. Beautiful home To note, there is a large hill to the lake without a railing which wasn't clearly visible in the pictures. Otherwise, everything felt accurately described.

Highly enjoyable stay - couple with 3 year kid. Amazing stuff: the back deck, view and hot tub. Absolutely outstanding and they really make the entire place a 5/5 (or 10/5 if you ask my son). Breakfasts with the sun shining on the deck, afternoons chilling sipping champagne in hot tub or dinners grilling with sunset over the lake were outstanding. We spent 99% of the time in the cottage on the deck. The area is also incredibly quiet, so if you want a place to decompress and enjoy nature's sound, this is it! Good stuff: the cottage is very well equipped, smooth check-in and very clean. I was even impressed that despite saying that they don't have some minor essentials (salt, pepper, coffee) - they still made a goody bag for us. Loved that touch. They had towels all kitchen equipment and even laundry items. The decent: the way to the cottage from main road is not paved and kinda sloped. Ultimately I think it is OK but just be forewarned, especially in winter. The next door neighbor is really close but he was rarely out and never had an issue (luckily my son managed to remain relatively quiet during the time). The cottage is also a bit smaller inside than what we imagined from the photos, but being summer we stayed 99% of the time outside, hence not an issue. Ultimately a great cottage, fun time and would absolutely come back for the deck alone.
