The location and proximity to all the Dells had to offer was perfect. We were no more than 10 mins away from any and everything. The morning views on the balcony watching the sun rise were so soothing and memorable. Access to the teeny tiny "beach" and free paddle boats were an extra sweet touch. Watching the different bird species and the active fish jumping and moving about in the lake was a source of natural entertainment. The place was clean and they even thought about the little doggos by providing a box of toys, a spare leash, and even waste bags. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed for a week's stay. Now here's were things aren't so perfect: 1) the mattresses felt like concrete. Not looking for luxury, but we are looking for a least a good night's sleep on a relaxing vacation. 2) the internet was very spotty. Sometimes we had a signal, sometimes we didn't. 3) the TV in the bedroom was of no use. There was no firestick or cable box. So no watching a show or movie to go to bed. 4) the batteries in the remote for the living room TV did not work, so we had to download the firestick app to control it. However, because the internet was spotty, that was not reliable at all. 5) No extra towels nor a washer/dryer on site. So, we were stuck using the same towels for an entire week (no, we don't do that at home. I purposely purchased all white towels so they can be regularly changed and bleached). Would I stay here again... I would like to. The owner said they are replacing and upgrading the TVs. I can bring my own towels if needed. But please, please, please do something about those mattresses!
