A beautiful spot nestled between bear and Michigan lakes. So tranquil.

This cottage sits right on Little Glen Lake, with an amazingly large, shaded yard and a great dock on the water. From the dock you can see the sand dunes and it is a beautiful sight. The road is relatively quiet, with the exception of early mornings when boaters are putting their boats in the water at the public dock nearby. I did not realize there is no A/C (my mistake). We visited in early July and did fine as the home has an abundance of shade, but when it gets hotter/muggy I wouldn't like it. The upstairs bedrooms do not have full window coverings; sleep masks were left which was a nice gesture. This is an older cottage and had a strong smell of moth balls when we first entered (as all the windows were closed). However, it aired out once we opened the windows. There is an abundance of space; a living area on the main and lower level. We enjoyed putting together a 1000 piece puzzle throughout the week that is on-site. Little Glen is a beautiful lake for kayaking and paddle boarding which we did. The kitchen is adequately supplied and includes both drip and K-cup coffee makers. We had 5 people and never had an issue with water pressure or hot water. As mentioned in another review the 3rd full bath is downstairs and is older and small, but useable.
