This cabin offers 4 bedrooms and bunks in an adjacent boat house with many areas to gather in the main house. It has a very nice 2 side screened in porch for enjoying the lake. Complete with books and games for indoor activity. There is quite a bit of lakeshore with a private beach, double dock, boathouse, kayaks, and paddle board.

Plan your Naples getaway

Naples makes a Maine Lakes Region stay easy to shape, with the Causeway, Long Lake, Brandy Pond, and boat-based days all close to the center of town. Naples vacation rentals work well for families, couples, and groups who want access to Songo River Queen II, Naples Causeway, Long Lake, and nearby Sebago Lake State Park.

As you compare homes, think about whether you want to stay near the Causeway, close to the water, or in a quieter setting with space to unwind after a lake day. Each home is unique, so review listing details for parking, kitchens, pet policies, WiFi, laundry, outdoor space, dock or boat access notes, and seasonal access details before you book.

Things to do in Naples

Looking for things to do in Naples, ME? Start with the Causeway and Long Lake, then add boat cruises, marina days, and family-friendly activities that make the town feel like a true lake getaway, not just a place to sleep near Sebago.

Songo River Queen II

Songo River Queen II is a Mississippi-style paddlewheel boat cruise that leaves from Naples and gives first-time visitors an easy way to see Long Lake from the water. It’s a classic starter activity for travelers who want the lake experience without renting or operating a boat.

Best for:

Naples Causeway

Naples Causeway is the central lakeside hub of town, where Long Lake, Brandy Pond, marinas, boat tours, and casual waterfront dining all come together. Use it as your first-afternoon orientation point when you want to see how the town’s lake rhythm works.

Best for:

Long Lake Marina

Long Lake Marina is a local boating outfitter for travelers who want their Naples trip to revolve around time on the water. It’s a practical planning anchor for families and groups staying near the lake and building a day around boating close to the Causeway.

Best for:

Steamboat Landing Mini Golf

Steamboat Landing Mini Golf is a family-friendly stop near the Causeway that works well when a lake day needs an easy add-on. Plan it for a casual evening, a kid-friendly break, or a low-commitment activity after boating or dinner.

Where to eat in Naples

Dining in Naples is easiest to plan around the Causeway and nearby lakefront cluster. This is where visitors can pair casual meals, pub-style stops, and waterfront views with boat tours, marina time, and walks between Long Lake and Brandy Pond.

If you prefer easy meals at your rental, check each listing for kitchen setup, dining space, outdoor seating, grill details, and parking. Features vary by home, so confirm the setup that matters most before you book.

Rick’s Cafe

Rick’s Cafe is a casual Naples waterfront restaurant near the Causeway, fitting the classic lakeside meal many travelers expect from a Maine lake town. It works well for lunch, dinner, or drinks after a boat cruise or marina day.

Bray’s Brew Pub

Bray’s Brew Pub is a local brew pub close to the Naples lakefront, suited to travelers looking for an easygoing group meal or casual beer after time outside. It’s a relaxed dinner option when you want something less formal than a waterfront sit-down meal.

Naples local tips

Naples events and seasonal highlights

Naples and the surrounding lakes region can add fairs, theater, motorsports, and seasonal community events to a lake stay, but dates and schedules change. Before building a trip around an event, check the official venue or organizer calendar for current details.

Nearby options like Casco Days, Deertrees Theatre, and Oxford Plains Speedway can support a refreshable events module when current programming is available. Keep these framed as regional seasonal ideas, not evergreen in-town Naples attractions.

Day trips from Naples

Naples makes a practical base for Sebago Lakes outings, family attractions, historic sites, farms, and even a longer coastal lighthouse day. Plan these as separate half-day or full-day trips, and check current hours, tickets, road conditions, and seasonal access before you go.

Sebago Lake State Park

Sebago Lake State Park is a nearby Maine state park with beach, lake, and wooded outdoor recreation that broadens a Naples trip beyond the Causeway. It’s a strong choice for travelers who want a state-park beach or nature day while staying within the Sebago Lakes region.

Maine Wildlife Park

Maine Wildlife Park in Gray is a state-run wildlife park where visitors can see native Maine animals in an educational, family-friendly setting. It works well as a kid-friendly land-based outing when your group wants a break from boating or lake time.

Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village

Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village in New Gloucester is a historic Shaker village and museum tied to one of Maine’s distinctive historic communities. It’s a quieter cultural outing for visitors who want something different from beaches, boats, and lake activities.

Pineland Farms

Pineland Farms in New Gloucester is a working farm and outdoor recreation destination with gardens, trails, and family-friendly agricultural experiences. It’s a flexible day trip for travelers who want a farm visit, walking time, or a low-key outdoor break from the lake.

Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse

Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse in South Portland adds a classic Maine coast experience to a lakes-region vacation. Treat it as a longer regional outing when your group wants lighthouse scenery and a change of landscape from Long Lake and Sebago.
