Midnight cove II is a great community. The condo is on a great location to access the beach. it has everything you could possibly need to make meals and serve them. The sheets on the bed are very nice. The shower is amazing; it has lots of water pressure. They should fix the outside door and the bedroom window, because they are not working properly. The air conditioner does not go below 73 degrees and it was sometimes unconfortable, if you get hot a lot. The property does have two beach chairs, so don't rent them.

The studio was quaint and in a perfect location—just a one-minute walk to the beach. Since the location was perfect, we walked to restaurants and shopping every day and enjoyed not having to drive or call an Uber. When we arrived, the unit was clean, we settled in quickly, and then explored the area. We noticed there wasn’t a wine opener, so we purchased one and left it for the next guest. The bed was comfortable, and since the weather was a bit cooler during our stay, we used the extra comforter, which was sufficient—though I personally would have preferred something slightly heavier. The pool did have leaves in it when we arrived and could have used a quick cleaning, but we didn’t end up using it due to the cooler temperatures. There were beach chairs in the storage box behind the units, which was a nice convenience. They were a bit rusty but still perfectly usable, and we appreciated having them. I also thought the embroidered “makeup” washcloth was a thoughtful touch. To elevate the space even further, a small wall-mounted magnifying mirror would be helpful for makeup application. Storage space overall was ample, though adding some corner shelving under the TVs could create even more usable space. We would have preferred larger insulated containers for beach drinks, but the steel cup with a lid provided in the drawer did keep beverages cold—just required more frequent trips back to the unit. The layout of the studio was excellent for the square footage. We did experience some noise from the neighboring unit with children, which is understandable and outside anyone’s control. Construction next door wasn’t too disruptive. One thing to note: the wall-mounted AC blows directly onto the bed. It would be great to add a way to adjust the airflow direction so guests don’t wake up with a sore throat. The mounted hygiene products in the shower were low or empty, but we had our own, so it wasn’t an issue. Beach towels were available in the closet as well, though we used ours. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this newly renovated property. I would rate it between a 4 and 4.5.
