Our stay at Blue Heron Beach Resort was a great experience overall. The pros greatly outweigh the very minor cons. The location was great, the amenities were very nice, and place was very clean. The few cons were all minor cosmetic issues that come with age. The place has a mid-2000's design to it and you can tell the appliances have been there since the beginning. They all worked, but they showed their age. The cleaners did an amazing job cleaning up the place and preparing the room before our stay that the place felt very well taken care of. Would highly recommend for any normal person looking for a great place to stay with comfy vibes.
Pros:
-Amazing location to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Easy to get in and out of. Easy access to I-4. Walkable to restaurants/convenience stores.
-Great view of the lake.
-Excellent amenities such as the large pool, heated pool, and in room washer and dryer. They provided detergent for the room!
-Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room. Never felt dirty in any room.
-Very nice and helpful staff. Talked to three different workers and had three good outcomes.
Cons:
-Rooms are a bit dated. You can notice basic ware and tear on appliances.
-They do have a live webcam on their website pointed out at the lake to catch the view, but it also shows the pool. A bit weird, but not a deal breaker for some people
