Absolutely loved the place, was clean open and great location

We had a great stay. Apartment was extremely clean. It was very roomy for the three of us.

If you have a large group, you will not be disappointed with this property. Plenty of private, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, plus a well stocked, roomy, fully functional kitchen. The dining area, decks, and dock overlook the lake; the views are breathtaking. It would be difficult to capture the expansive beauty in a photo. Lots of hiking trails, an ice cream shop, and a convenience store within easy driving distance. We (ten people) had a fabulous vacation.

The mountain town is ideal for families and groups seeking a variety of adventures, as well as couples looking to escape to a serene and beautiful setting. Grab a pet-friendly vacation home in the heart of the action or a cozy cabin along the outskirts, with amenities like swimming pools, hot tubs, fireplaces, mountain views, lake views, lake access, and more.

Where is Truckee, CA?

Conveniently located near Interstate 80 and historic Donner Pass, Truckee is perhaps the most easily accessed Tahoe California town. Crystal blue views of Donner Lake (which has both public and private docks) welcome travelers as they approach from the west. Truckee rests just a few miles away from the state’s border with Nevada and north of Lake Tahoe, making it a perfect home base to sample all the area has to offer.

Tahoe Donner amenities

Guests staying at our Truckee rentals in the Tahoe Donner association will have access to the Trout Creek Recreation Center, Northwoods Clubhouse, Donner Lake Beach Club Marina, and Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center. Among these facilities are pools, spas, numerous sports courts, and more. Guests must present their member passes for access, and four people per pass will be admitted. Please note that a small fee is required to use some of the amenities. In summer, bring the clubs: in addition to the Tahoe Donner Golf Course, there are no less than 13 golf courses around Truckee.
