This location was great for a golf weekend.

We were doing wine tastings in a variety of spots and the location was perfect. Also enjoyed the proximity to the coast. Was great to have a little town nearby for necessities but also liked being among the redwoods. Couldn’t have asked for better.

All the raves I called is my happy place for so many reasons: the house is fab, love the deck and a hot tub surrounded by the redwoods and the whole area so much to do! I have visited this house many times over the years and finally writing a review. The house itself is so clean and so stylish, very cool artwork, which is unusual for a rental, comfy, couches, and beds and tons of towels and sheets. The kitchen is very well appointed and I love that it overlooks the family room making meal time prep a fun experience. We always grill on the first night and have a wonderful dinner on the deck. This house is pure heaven and the area is fantastic always discovering new things to do. Wine tasting at Lynmar estates & Iron Horse is a great experience! There are some gorgeous hikes at Jenner Beach - goat rock/ Shell Beach hike along the water is a highlight and of course Armstrong woods is beautiful for the historic redwoods. The hot tub is a welcome experience after a morning of hiking. Also love walking around the Northwood golf course loop from house. Duncan Mills is an adorable little town and it looks like a movie set great little grocery store for sandwiches and other delicious treats, a bookstore, which is perfect for picking up a book to read on the deck, great restaurant for breakfast and an adorable place for a glass of wine, looking out at the cows in the field. Also love Boon restaurant in Guerneville the menu is seasonal and always amazing! El Bario - is great for a cocktail and snack type foods. It’s nice to have the Safeway in town to pick up food. Mike’s garden truck in Fulton is always the first stop off the freeway for delightful vegetables and fruits to stock the fridge. Need to go up again because I still have not gone tubing on the river. Goals! Longest review ever but there’s so much good stuff to say about this spot… A favorite with me and my friends we always rave about these long weekends and longer stays and how much fun we all have at this awesome house! Go! And once you do, you’ll wanna go again and again!
