Built on the original Ransleben Blacksmith property, our eight cottages are named after the Blacksmith children. Each cottage is unique, but all offer cozy gas fireplaces, flatscreen TVs, kitchenette with coffeemaker, fridge, microwave, and sink, luxurious king beds, and private baths. A light, unhosted breakfast is provided each morning, and best of all, each cottage includes its own private hot tub.
The main home, the Ransleben-Moellering House, was built in the 1800s and has been beautifully restored. The home is perfect for slightly larger groups, with three bedrooms, three full baths, a comfortable living room, and a private courtyard with hot tub and fireplace.
The property itself includes romantic grounds, beautifully landscaped and including many small touches that reflect the unique history of the Blacksmith family and Fredericksburg itself. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout, as well as central A/C and heat, and on-site parking.
From charming cottages to its centerpiece historic home, you'll find the perfect home base for your Fredericksburg getaway at the Blacksmith Quarters on Barons Creek.
