Recent Peoria vacation rental reviews

The house had everything we needed. It was extremely clean, with very comfortable bed and living areas. Was well stocked with basics such as spices, paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, etc…. Great neighbourhood and convenient location. From talking with locals, I know heating a pool in AZ is rare because it gets so hot in summer but our one suggestion would be a solar blanket for the pool. It was hot when we were there 90-100F and the pool was barely over 70F which is a-bit chilly.

Well this home is amazing. We had family together with 3 kids and it was so spacious and beautiful It was perfect for our needs. Questions were responded to quickly by what seems like automated responses, but very nice. One thing, if you are cooking for the # of people accommodated by this house, the cooking utensils and staples are pretty minimal. So if you are eating out, no problem, but cooking big meals for 9-10 people, you can make do, but might want to bring a few basics. (I.e. garlic press, whisk, etc.) We had a grand time and loved the house.

Where is Peoria, AZ?

Peoria is a city and a major suburb of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Its boundaries extend north to encompass much of Lake Pleasant, and south where it shares a border with Glendale. If you're flying in for a visit, the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is just 18 miles southeast of the heart of downtown Peoria.

Things to See and Do in Peoria, AZ

At the northern end of Peoria, you'll find Lake Pleasant Regional Park, home of the 10,000-acre reservoir originally created by the Carl Pleasant Dam back in the late 1920s. Visitors can spend their days paddleboarding or water skiing, and this lake also hosts exciting speedboat and hydroplane racing events as part of the Arizona H2OMG Festival at the end of February.

For additional sporting events, the Peoria Sports Complex hosts spring training for the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres, and you can also find the Arizona Cardinals stadium close by over in Glendale, just a short drive west. The Coyotes, a professional hockey team, also play nearby.

Golfers will want to challenge some of the courses throughout the area like the Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia, the Quintero Golf Club, Peoria Pines, and the Lakes Course at Westbrook Village, among many others.

Lastly, there are plenty of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment within Peoria and also in neighboring communities, including Surprise just nine miles west.
