This private, forested 3BR/2BA retreat is a gorgeous spot year-round that sleeps six guests. With quick access to Squaw Valley Ski Resort, Lake Tahoe, and Tahoe City, you'll find no shortage of beaches, culture, and outdoor sports nearby. Walk to Sunnyside and Hurricane Bay beach access for plenty of fun. This cabin unlike, any on the western shore, was recently renovated with new carpet, new lighting, new furnishings, among other upgrades. It is great for romantic retreats, couples' getaways, and family vacations alike!
On the bottom level, you'll find the primary bedroom with queen-size bed and 70" smart TV. The washer/dryer and primary bathroom are also on this level, with your own stone tile walk-in shower.
Upstairs, you'll find the main living, dining, and kitchen area with gleaming wood floors. A 65" flat-screen TV hangs near the dining table, so you can watch from the table or the sectional sofa across the room. The built-in mini-bar (with wine fridge) and a Sonus speaker system throughout the house are clever extras. The open, U-shaped kitchen is well-appointed with stainless steel GE Profile/KitchenAid appliances, a gas range, a French press for coffee lovers, and a fryer. The black stone countertops are elegant, and there's also a breakfast bar with counter seating. Down the hall from the kitchen are the two guest rooms, each featuring queen-size beds (both have a 55" TV). The shared and newly remodeled guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Through the living room, there's a front deck with a gas grill and seating to dine or keep warm by the gas fire pit.
The clear, calm waters of Hurricane Bay on Lake Tahoe are just a 10-minute walk from your door! Hikers, bikers, and swimmers will find no shortage of gorgeous spots to explore here, with Tahoe State Recreation Area just a few blocks away. It's an easy trip into town, only a 1.4-mile bike ride to groceries at West Shore Market, or perhaps have a meal at Spoon. If you're here for the skiing, you're in luck! A 20-minute drive will take you to either Squaw Valley, Homewood Mountain, or Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. In the summer, horseback riding, river rafting, or kayaking will call you. Whenever you visit, the world is your oyster here by Lake Tahoe.
