Cozy Cabin with Three Decks & SHARC Passes - Dogs Welcome

Come explore the high desert while you stay at this cute two-bedroom, two-bath Lofty Lane vacation home in Sunriver! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees, the whole family will appreciate being close to all the area's outdoor fun. Boasting aquatic centers, tennis, golf, and Deschutes River activities in nice weather, as well as ample winter sports in the colder months, Sunriver is Central Oregon's year-round premiere resort community.

You'll feel right at home in this comfortable space. The master bedroom holds a queen-size bed, and the bedroom and large loft upstairs are furnished with one queen and one king-size bed, allowing up to six guests total to easily share the home. This cottage is complete with multiple outdoor decks for unwinding and breathing in the crisp mountain air; the decks are great for just relaxing with a glass of wine or spotting deer in the yard.

A newly remodeled kitchen with new stove, microwave, oven, and dishwasher will make preparing meals enjoyable whether it's a quick breakfast snack before heading out to the river or a full sit-down dinner after a long day on the slopes. This home also welcomes dogs, so you can go ahead and bring your beloved dogs with you, though a nightly fee per dog and a minimum fee per stay will apply.

Located only five minutes away is SHARC, Sunriver's aquatic center, and this home comes with six free passes! You and your family will have a blast at SHARC's pools, play areas, and year-round tubing hill.

For ski bums, Mt. Bachelor is only 20 miles away and cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails are abundant in the nearby national forest lands. Considering a trip around the holidays? Between Thanksgiving and February, Sunriver Stables offers horse-pulled sleigh rides in Victorian-style sleighs along the scenic and snowy Deschutes River.

No matter when you choose to visit Sunriver, 3 Lofty Lane is a wonderful home base for a memorable family getaway in Central Oregon.

Please be aware that the Sunriver SHARC center has implemented new rules and regulations regarding occupancy, amenities, and access. Please see their website for more details.

The amenities were all there. I grew up going to the Cluster Cabins and was super excited about this cabin. It made me feel very comfortable while trying to relax with the loss of my husband. We too had spent time in Sunriver and he would have loved this cabin as well.
Brian L. May 2022
Great location - walking distance to SHARC and walking/biking to the Village. My only suggestion would be a small investment in new sheets and pillows.
Jim R. Feb 2022
Noone will confuse this house for 5-star accommodations but it is comfortable and roomy. Enjoyed the location; nearby town center and proximity to Mt. Bachelor/sno-parks.

My one disappointment was that the DVD player was incompatible with the TV. I called for service and it was replaced by the end of the day. Unfortunately, it was my son's birthday and he had an agenda that started with a family movie before heading out to the snow. Can't get that opportunity back.
Manager response:
Thank you so much for your review, Jim. We are happy you all enjoyed your stay, and we are sorry to hear the DVD did not work correctly initially. We are overjoyed our local team was able to rectify that quickly, we hope to host you again soon.

Perfect home for our 3 young kids and dog. We used the kitchen, built snowmen all around the house, and relaxed by the fire. Austin from Vacasa responded quickly to help us with the dryer. Overall great experience- we will be back!

The beds were comfortable and the location was good. The SHARC passes were great too. The not so great parts were the broken couch, 2- 6x20 inch holes in the carpet by the upstairs slider, screens that are barely attached (which makes it less nice when there is no AC and you have to rely on windows open at night), doors (laundry and bathroom) that don't close properly and don't lock, warped flooring downstairs, and old warped pans for cooking. I found dog food on the stairs, and we don't have a dog. We also had a maintenance issue (dryer vent was not attached) and they sent the order for repair to a different house... You can find a better place to stay in Sunriver.
Manager response:
Hello Christy, we apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. We are disappointed that the cleanliness issues were not brought to our attention. Our local staff is there to assist you with issues during your stay. We have forwarded the information about the cooking vessels to the management for review.
Alan T. Jul 2021
Worked great for our family, friends and our two dogs. Even on the record setting heat dome weekend, it was comfortable to sleep without having A/C. Well laid out and a good fit for us. Thanks!
Kathleen K. May 2021
We loved the cabin feel of the place. Well appointed kitchen.
Jennifer J. Apr 2021
We loved the home. It was cozy and had just enough room for the 4 of us with our dogs. The beds were a little hard for my liking, but other than that this was a nice home in a good location.
Manager response:
We understand that sleeping preferences vary widely and we are sorry to hear that the bed was not well-suited to your sleep preference. We will certainly keep your comments in mind when planning updates for the home. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our home and hope to have another chance to impress you in the future.

Quaint, clean, well appointed with high ceilings and Comfy furnishings! Easy check-in, check-out... quiet cul de sac. Would love to return!
Matthew A. Sep 2020
We enjoyed our stay here even though we ended up there on the hottest week of the year! The house aired out well in the evenings and stayed cool most of the day with 4-6pm being a little toasty. We used the SHARC passes and our daughter swam for the first time, played cards on the deck in the evening, and enjoyed the walk/bike paths around Sunriver.

The kitchen is pretty snug which is good for small groups and/or if you plan to eat out, but wouldn't suffice if you are looking to cook a lot.
Azla L. Jul 2020
Our family loved this little cabin. Very open design and clean. Loved having the SHARC passes. Thank you for sharing your home!
Carrie G. Jul 2020
Lofty Lane is a very quaint home with a cabin feel. It is a well loved home that had many things that need fixed. We enjoyed our stay regardless of the broken items. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be the unpaved driveway and sidewalk. I felt like our feet and shoes were constantly covered in dirt. The other homes in the circle were paved and it would be a wonderful improvement to this house.
Manager response:
Hi Carrie, thank you for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback about the driveway and sidewalk. We hope to host you again, soon.
Peter C. May 2020
Things we liked:
- gorgeous setting & surrounding area. Loved the pine smell surrounding the house
- easy access to things like the bike path (& bikes provided) in the backyard
- good internet & access to streaming TV services

Things that prevented us from rating 5 stars:
- unnecessarily difficult or awkward to open the sliding door to get into the house. The screen door also had some flaws
- we ended up with white dog hair all over from previous visitors
- pillows were either totally flat or lumpy
- back door deadbolt unusually difficult to unlock

Would rate 3.5 stars if it were an option, though rating 4 as any issues seem easy to fix. Thanks for the stay!
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Peter. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. We will work with both our housekeeping and maintenance teams to make improvements, and we hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!
Drew L. May 2020
We fell in love with Lofty Lane 3. The cabin was cozy, had spacious living spaces, outdoor porches and all the amenities one would be seeking in a cabin. We grilled and had several excellent meals, made fires in the wood burning stove and were really able to find relaxation here. All within an hour of the best outdoor excursions in central Oregon. Very much looking forward to our next stay.
Cindia V. Mar 2020
Very nice and well equipped. Only thing too much dog hair. Other than that perfect.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us Cindia! We apologize for the dog hair in the home. Although this a pet-friendly home and some pet hair is expected, we want to make sure it is being properly cleaned for our guests. We will make sure to pass along your feedback to our local manager so we can ensure housekeeping is doing a deep clean after every reservation. We hope to host you again!
Robert M. Sep 2019
WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAY! My Fiancee and I and our Dog Jet absolutely loved the time we spent here. So nice!
Jolanta G. Sep 2019
Very clean house with all the necessities for a traveler. BTW there was a live bird in the burning stove when we came. We saved it.
Hannah S. Aug 2019
The home was great! I only had two complaints, it was definitely an older home that hasn’t been updated in awhile, but that was to be expected since it was dog friendly, but there were 3 bikes missing, which was really inconvenient. Overall we really enjoyed our stay
Manager response:
We're so glad you enjoyed your stay in our home! We apologize for the inconvenience of not having enough bikes. At this time, we only have two bikes available for guest use. We hope to host you again!
Sean B. Jul 2019
I stayed at the house over the weekend as a part of a golf getaway with some friends and it was the perfect place for us to crash and hang out in between golf and exploring the Sunriver/Bend area.
Trevor V. Aug 2018
Well stocked house with plenty of linens and games. Loved the location, not too close to the more travelled roads but still close to the village and sharc. We would stay here again.
Saul S. Aug 2018
Nice home, great location, kids and pet friendly, comfy beds, deers outside, simply great!
StephanieSt B. Jul 2018
Clean, cozy, plenty of blankets! We had a blast and can't wait until our next trip!
Carol A. Jun 2018
Our Sunriver cabin was impeccably clean; every appliance worked perfectly - hot, hot water and great water pressure in the kitchen and in both showers. Kitchen appliances were modern and encouraged home-cooked meals. The dining room provided pine-studded scenery on both sides of the spacious glass windows, bringing the beautiful outdoors, in.
An ax in the wood tree stump caught the eye of our 12 year old Boy Scout who eagerly provided kindling for crisp, early morning TV watching -while the adults enjoyed very comfortable beds and tried to sleep past 6 am:)
Bed and pillow covers could use updating but overall, we had a marvelous time and cannot say enough about the preparation, communication, and friendliness of the Vacasa customer service representatives.

The community affords every opportunity for leisurely walking and terrific biking for the youngest family member (we range from 7 to 66) without overexertion.

It was a joy to spend our summer vacation with Vacasa in Sunriver!
Brian L. May 2018
This house had everything I needed. The location was great. The house and furnishings were a little worn but nothing that took away from my stay.
David S. Feb 2018
We were so impressed that after a snow storm, a gentleman showed up, plowed our driveway and even shoveled our deck!
Christine B. Sep 2017
We always have a wonderful time in Sunriver. This house is in a good location close to SHARC. We appreciated the SHARC passes, available bikes and nice layout of the home. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. We also appreciated the pool towels.
The bad: the furniture really needs to be updated. The sofa and recliners felt dirty. The bedding is also outdated and needs to be replaced. The TV is very old and needs to be replaced. The house also could do with AC or some working fans. The ceiling fan provided a little relief.
We will definitely come back to Sunriver but would not stay at this house again.
Manager response:
The owners will be staying in the cabin soon, and we will bring these items to their attention at that time for their consideration.
Kamila V. Jul 2017
Overall we loved the house and enjoyed our stay.
Ashley T. Dec 2016
Good stay.
Jackie L. Nov 2016
Cute small house. Could not really get as many guests as quoted. The location is great, very quiet and set back off the road. The house was very clean and well stocked. Very warm and cozy.
Dean W. Sep 2016
We had a wonderful trip. The staff and the property were perfect for us. Thanks for everything.
Simone F. Sep 2016
If you like, quiet and contained, and not a lot of fluff, this is a perfect getaway. A great house if you have a few kids that don't need a lot of entertainment or who really enjoy spending most of their time outdoors. Great location for bike rides, jogging/walking trails, swim park, seeing deer out and about. Cute village if you want a little bit of culture and a variety of restaurants for those who don't want to cook. Would definitely go back and stay.
Tim O. Aug 2016
The furnishings could use updating. Great location!
Christopher B. Jul 2016
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking forward to our next stay!
Eric T. Mar 2016
Highly recommended...
Rick N. Feb 2016
Although the home could use some TLC, we were overall happy with the property and the reasonable price.
Toni G. Aug 2015
Great location close to the SHARC and Plaza. Included SHARC passes were great for our family. With a crawling little one the carpets were pretty dirty. And the bed in the lower bedroom is very hard. Overall, satisfied but would only come back if some updating and deep cleaning was done.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback. All of the homes we manage in Sunriver are heavily used and this starts to show by the end of the summer. Our property manager will be doing a deep cleaning on this home very soon. Thanks for choosing Vacasa!
Scott W. Jul 2015
This isn't a bad place to stay, it's close the the SHARC and easy to get around. The house itself has good space and the layout is ok. The furniture is outdated, and some of it is broken (the recliner and also an upstairs foldout couch). Screen doors don't slide on their tracks and the TV looks like it's from the early 90's. I think there are better values in Sunriver so I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend.
Cynthia T. Jun 2015
It was very pleasant, very quiet as we were the only people on the street.
Stowe C. Mar 2015
This is our fourth time to stay at Sunriver and our first at this location. For a single family of five it was perfect. We would have had room for two more people if we needed it. The house has a great location close to ft. rock, sharc, and sunriver main village. The sharc passes for six make this place even more attractive and totally worth it. If we are coming here as just our family again we will look to stay here again. Well worth the money!

I'm a Southern CA born grandmother with no real snow experience. This little
chalet in the Sun River resort area was a beasutiful introduction to life in a snow
forest. The home is toasty warm. My little brown poodle-ish dog loved the
big window were he could sit a monitor the squirrel population. My great
grandson enjoyed doing a jig saw puzzle on the dining table and watching his
favorite TV shows on the TV. The home was well equipped with everything
we could have needed. We didn't use the bikes or Shark passes but had
weather been different, we would have perhaps.
We had a major snowfall...my first!
I enjoyed the fact that the bedroom downstairs had a queen and twin bed, so
when grandson visited, we could be downstairs. The downstairs sofa also
made up into a bed had it been needed.
Upstairs was lovely master bedroom and cute loft. We didn't use it, but
in younger years, I would have loved it!
The only problems encourtered were... the sliding glass door key was difficult
to open and close.!! For several weeks I had trouble with the trash can area, and my grandson who lives in the asrea would have to assist me. The finatl week, I met the trash man and asked if he would leave the trash can upright instead of upside down as there was no way I could use it. He was most helpful and quickly fixed it. A carport would have been nice in snow but there were
serveral great parking areas, and my car did beautifully.
This is a little home away from home....reminded me of a place Heidi of storybook lore would have loved. With the snow, a Robert Frost setting truly!
I thank the owners for opening this lovely spot and giving many of us memories
we'll treasure!
Rob E. Apr 2014
My family had a great time here. This home had everything we needed for our extended weekend in Sunriver. Walking distance to SHARC and the bike trail right out back. Plenty of parking and lots of space. A very enjoyable time.
LaDeana M. Mar 2014
We had a great time here! Its close to everything and anything you need. Your close to shopping, fishing, skiing, ice skating, the rec center, and even Bend and La Pine if you feel like venturing out of Sunriver. Its tucked out of the way and quiet. You have neighboring houses but you don't hear them. We had two couples there, and it was a perfect fit. We had plenty of room. We could have fit 2 more people easily.
Teri H. Jul 2013
Highlights: close to SHARC and Village! Two bedrooms with loft. Three queen beds and an additional twin in downstairs bedroom. No AC. Front and back decks with plenty of seating, BBQ.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to let others know about your experience at this home. We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you again.
Wendi W. Jul 2013
We had a wonderful time at 3 Lofty Lane! We certainly would stay here again. Thanks!
