This four-bedroom, two-bathroom, ocean-view Newport vacation home is brand new and waiting just for your group! Only a few blocks from the Nye Beach area of Newport, come relax and unwind on the beautiful Oregon Coast and enjoy this historic Deco District neighborhood, named so for the Art Deco design of many of the surrounding buildings.
The open living room, dining room, and kitchen feature lovely hardwood floors, all new furnishings, and artistic touches throughout. A wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable, Blu-ray player and a Wii console will provide entertainment in case of rain. Although, large windows and a spacious west facing deck right off the kitchen and dining room also has a wonderful view for storm watching, so you may just find yourself entertained by the view from one of the living room's comfortable seats.
Set atop a colorful area rug, the dining table seats six and there is extra nearby seating at the breakfast bar. Many enjoyable nights will be spent finishing up the wine after dinner, talking about the day, and watching the waves roll in. Not just for meals, this is also a wonderful spot for a family board game, planning the next day's activities, or just chatting over some mugs of tea.
The kitchen includes all the appliances, gadgets, and utensils needed for creating great vacation meals! Attractive dishes, placemats, and glassware are available for setting a beautiful table for your feast. Set the outdoor table for a special meal and then take in the sounds, breathe in the ocean air, and toast to a wonderful oceanside getaway!

This house will sleep eight guests comfortably.
Outside this lovely house, there is a fenced-in area for children to play. The kids will enjoy having their own private playground with swings, slides, and other fun equipment. Beach access is also just a few blocks away! There, spend the day building sandcastles, walking in the surf, collecting seashells, or just relaxing on a beach blanket.
Not far from the house, you can take a self-guided walking tour of the Deco District, including a stop at the iconic Yaquina Bay Bridge, with its fluted curved stairway and stylized cast concrete pylons. For dining options, plan a special night out at nearby April's at Nye Beach for steamed clams and linguica, or an afternoon in downtown Newport snacking on fish tacos and oyster shooters at Local Ocean before browsing through blocks of galleries and one-of-a-kind shops. On a rainy day, a visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium may be in order. Stroll through a number of underwater walkways observing sharks, stingrays, and other underwater life in the Passages of the Deep exhibit.
The beach town of Newport is surrounded by some of the Central Oregon Coast's most scenic parks and recreation sites. Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site is home to the historic Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, as well as plus hiking trails, tide pools, scenic bluffs, and panoramic views. At Agate Beach Park you'll want to do some razor clamming like the locals, or just stroll along the miles of sandy beach.
