The Matterhorn - Joseph, OR

The Matterhorn is a sweet and charming cabin on the west side of Wallowa Lake. The all-wood interior provides that cabin-in-the-woods feel and the living room and kitchen have an open floor plan that keeps everyone together. There are many large picture windows offering unobstructed views of Wallowa Lake and the east moraine. The home has two bedrooms. The first bedroom on the right has a queen and is a few steps from the full bathroom which offers a shower and a washer/dryer. The bedroom on the left has two twin beds and another queen bed with an adjoining half bath.

Enjoy your days on the deck that overlooks your own private boat dock on Wallowa Lake. Watch the kids on the dock while you barbecue or relax with a good book. Enjoy some fishing and boating action with the private dock. However you choose to spend your days, your time at the Matterhorn will be enjoyable.

Things to Know
Boat docks are seasonal, therefore, access to the lake from some lakefront homes is seasonal.
There is a low beam ceiling in the living room/kitchen area, so please watch your head.

Boat trailer parking available

• No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.
• Parking notes: This home has easy access from the parking area with ample parking for 2 vehicles and a boat trailer. While there is parking for your boat trailer at the house, we ask that you launch the boat, then pull the empty trailer into the parking area. You might have to unhook and manually maneuver it around to the parking place. Please do not take a boat into the driveway. To keep our driveways in good condition, we ask that you come out of them in 4x4 year-round or in manual LOW. HIGHLY recommended 4X4, chains and/or traction tires for winter driving.
