This 4BR/2BA waterfront home is part of a beautiful gated community located in the Reserve at St. Charles Bay. Close to Goose Island State Park and right by the bay, you’ll be surrounded by nature.

With all-new furnishings, two private firepits, two kayaks, and access to community amenities, this home is the perfect vacation retreat. The loft provides an additional sleeping area, making it great for larger groups. Amenities for your enjoyment include a 2.1-mile community boardwalk, a firepit, a fishing dock, a hammock park with an outdoor kitchen and gas grills, a bayfront pool, a bayfront pier, and kayaks (must remain at the pier).

Kick back on the couch and enjoy a movie on the 50-inch TV. Vaulted ceilings and recessed lighting create a bright and airy space. Take in the view of St. Charles Bay through glass doors that open to the private patio. With a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a Bertazzoni gas stove, the open kitchen has everything you need to prepare tasty meals. A freestanding ice maker ensures that you’ll always have plenty of ice on hand. Gather for meals at the dining table for six, or perch at the island for three.

The suite is furnished with a plush king bed and a 50-inch TV. Wake up to a private view of the water - this room has direct access to the back patio. The en-suite bathroom has a double vanity, walk-in shower, and a separate water closet. The second bedroom also has a king bed and 50-inch TV, while the third bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and 42-inch TV. Accessible via the spiral staircase, the loft has three twin-over-twin bunk beds and a 32-inch TV. The second bathroom has a double vanity and a tub/shower combination.

Your back patio is furnished with a couch and three chairs. Gather around the firepit and take in the sweeping view of the water. A set of steps lead to the community boardwalk. Soak up the sun in the fenced front yard. Walk just 400’ to the unheated community pool (open year-round), complete with plenty of lounge seating. Launch the provided kayaks from the shared pier and explore the open waters. Bring your boat (or rent one) and dock it at your private boat slip on the dock (available on a first-come, first-served basis). The home also has a designated trailer parking spot on-site for added convenience.

A washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, and two kayaks are provided.

Your vacation home is less than a mile from Goose Island National Park. The centuries-old Big Tree is 1.5 miles north. And Rockport Beach is a short drive away (11 miles).

THINGS TO KNOW

• Occupancy and parking are strictly enforced. Guests in violation will be removed. Boat trailers do not count as a vehicle and must be parked in the driveway of the unit. The vehicle that has been displaced by the trailer must be parked at overflow parking on the island or at the community park. Weddings, parties, and RVs are not permitted on-site.

• No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.
