Dog-friendly, lakefront home w/ roof deck - blocks from the beach!

With a waterfront location on Siders Pond and roof deck views that reach all the way to Martha's Vineyard, this four-bedroom Falmouth vacation rental is an ideal retreat for beach-goers, art lovers, and guests in search of scenic relaxation.

Beautifully situated between the calm waters of Salt and Siders Ponds, Mill Watch is conveniently located within walking distance to the shore and one mile from the Main Street shops and restaurants in Falmouth Village.

With 2,724 square feet of living space and water views in nearly every room, this peaceful home is the perfect destination for your next family beach vacation or couples' getaway to Cape Cod.

The main floor living room is spacious and welcoming with large windows, plush sofas, and artwork lovingly created by the owner. Grab a window seat and flip through one of the many books of art, or gather your friends around the table for a tournament of board games.

Move upstairs to find a second living room with cathedral ceilings where guests can flip on the flatscreen TV, enjoy an afternoon game of cards, or simply soak in the surrounding views of the ponds. This house is equipped with WiFi for your convenience.

The newly designed gourmet kitchen features pristine white cabinetry with lighting underneath, custom Corian countertops, high-end stainless steel appliances, Pergo flooring, and even a washer and dryer for your convenience. Enjoy family breakfasts in the formal indoor dining room, or move just outside the glass doors to find a patio set on the expansive back deck.

With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, Mill Watch can accommodate as many as seven guests during your Cape Cod vacation - as well as your dogs, for a small nightly fee. On the main floor, you'll find three bedrooms with two queen-size beds and one twin; upstairs, the master suite offers a queen bed and a private sitting area. There's even an electric stair lift to help out any guests with limited mobility navigate between the upper and lower levels.

Although the serene lakefront of Siders Pond is just a short walk through the yard, there is so much more for guests to discover in and around Falmouth Village. Built upon the very land which John Gosnold founded the town of Falmouth in 1660, Mill View is rich in traditional appeal and local history. Falmouth's rich history is always on display at the Museums on the Green just one mile away.

Looking for some fun in the sun at one of Falmouth's 10 public beaches? Enjoy views of Martha's Vineyard from Falmouth Heights Beach just three miles east, or stroll through the white sand of Old Silver only six miles north. Find thrills fishing for tuna right or your next trophy fish right off the coast. Have a more relaxed afternoon on a charter sailing boat or just sitting in the sand with the home's provided beach chairs and umbrella.

Escape to one of the most beloved towns in New England - reserve this gorgeous Cape Cod vacation rental today!

The location was south of Falmouth on the way to Woods Hole between 2 ponds. Beautiful views from the widow’s walk. The vintage decorations were nice. The kitchen was set up for cooking. We had 3 couples and it was the perfect size with 3 bathrooms.

The beds were very, very hard. Like sleeping on the floor.

Great location. Easy walk to beach. Canoe use in pond in backyard. Fantastic view from deck. BUT ridiculously hot with inadequate tiny fans

House needs a little TLC. Overall a great spot close to everything

This house is in a great location, close to beach and tows of Falmouth and Woods Hole. Customer service on minor problems and inquiries was outstanding.

This property is in a stunning location with the most spectacular views to the back and front. It has a beautiful decking area and roof terrace too enabling you to make the most of those views. Falmouth is a lovely town and the property is within walking distance to the beach.
The property itself is not decorated to my taste and that's fine. The upstairs living area is well equipped and very comfortable , the kitchen is well decorated and well equipped. The bathrooms, kitchen and living rooms were clean on the surface. There is some fabulous art work to look at too.
The bedrooms- the beds are very hard and we found them extremely uncomfortable. The pillows are thin and (in my opinion) need updating. We did not feel comfortable in the property. It became apparent soon after arriving that this property is firstly a family home and not a holiday rental. Cupboards, drawers and wardrobes full of personal belongings and therefore we felt almost like we were intruding. It also makes it weird to unpack so I lived out of my suitcase.
The kitchen utensils, place mats weren't particularly clean. The downstairs bedrooms had very thin curtains. One of the bathrooms downstairs had no light and no curtain. I slept in the bedroom upstairs and dropped something behind the back of the bed. It was absolutely filthy behind the bed and this was visible without moving the bed. The property has some fans but we didn't put any of them on as they were covered in thick dust. This was not a cheap holiday rental and I felt frustrated at the standards. This property could be amazing but we would not stay again in its current state. Had this been a hotel we would have asked to change rooms.

Great location especially if your looking to spend a day in Martha's Vineyard it was very close to the ferry. The home itself has some old furniture but the condition of the house is good and the deck and backyard definitely make this property a great stay. Only negative about this location is the fact that someone lives on the property above the garage. Not a very friendly man and kinda awkward to have to pass by him on occasion leaving in and out.

We enjoyed the location of this property a lot, great views and several areas to explore- loved Jacks for dinner and Grumpys at night for a fun local dive bar. Unfortunately much of the furniture and linens need to be replaced. They were very dusty and coffee maker was filthy, beyond cleaning. Bring your own kcups for Keurig instead. Had trouble w screen door being locked (separate lock box), but luckily vacasa is very accessible to help us get inside.
Manager response:
The linens in the home have all been replaced, and the Property Manager has made sure the screen door is functional. We apologize for any inconveniences or discomforts these issues may have caused.

Nice place, good location!

The deck, the kitchen and the proximity to the beach are all that this house has going for it at present. Central air and other rennovations are sorely needed to update this dated home which is in need of some tlc.

The house was OK for us. We were traveling with 4 young kids and the location is perfect! But, the equipment and condition of the house are minimal. The house is clean, but old. Bed sheets and linen should be replaced. Room confort is minimal.

Really amazing location and overall great house. Just furnishings were a little outdated. you cannot beat the location for Falmouth.
