We enjoyed our time in Whistler. Staff at Glacier Lodge were helpful and general facilities were excellent. Sofa bed would have been hard for one person to set out, but was quite comfortable.

The lodge, location, and hot tub were great. The room, however, was just good enough to get by. The sleeper bed is painful (and I’m young and adaptable). The rest of the room was functional, but dated.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Cameron. We regret we don't have more information regarding your specific areas of concern, as we are always happy to know how we can provide a more pleasant stay for our guests. We hope we have the chance to impress you in the future. Thank you.

There’s no bed and the couch bed is incredibly uncomfortable. With 2 people, you sink to the middle and hear every movement in the springs throughout the night. Highly recommend bringing your own towels and bedding… well I just don’t recommend at all. But if you do, bring your water filter/buy bottles because the tap water is terrible. The towels were ripped and stained and there were cracks/holes in the shower. There was no duvet, just a fleece blanket and one of those hotel decorative top blankets that you never want to use. It smelled bad from the moment we walked in…not of anything particular, just bad. Overall ruined our weekend.
Manager response:
Hi, Terrilyn! The sofa bed is scheduled for inspection so we can follow-up with the homeowner with our findings. Whistler water is very safe to drink, so we're sorry to read you found it so distasteful. We apologize you did not have the best visit and hope you'll consider giving us a chance to impress you in the future.
