Glacier Lodge is conveniently located in Whistler Upper Village, just a short walk to the Blackcomb Gondola. The Lodge itself is fine, but like all Whistler accommodations, it feels tired and dated. Everything needs a lick of paint and the decorations a complete overhaul to bring the overall experience up to date. The impression this leaves you with, is that guest experience and quality hospitality take a back seat from taking your money. Fortunately the mountain makes up for such minor inconveniences.

Awesome location, being one of the closest lodges to the Blackcomb Gondola. Ski check was easy to use. Friendly staff all around. Parking was $20/day which seems reasonable. Garage is tight but manageable. Did not end up using pool / hot tub but they were open. Murphy bed mattress seems smaller than a queen and is significantly less comfortable than your average "real" mattress. There are blinds on the windows but they are not blackouts which could be an issue if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. Amenities were okay but could've used some more staples like more than a day's worth of coffee and paper towels.
