Lakefront Townhome with Fireplace, Private Hot Tub, & Shared Pool

At this Wapato Point townhome, you'll have Lake Chelan, a private jetted tub, a shared pool, hot tubs, and tennis, and more right outside your door. As far as a highly desired Manson vacation rental, this one is tops.

Take a stroll to Lake Chelan activities, such as the Manson Bay Marina for boating, Sunset Bar for deep fried bacon-eating, and you can even take a super short drive to Benson Vineyards Estate for wine tasting. When you're not relaxing in the complex’s hot tub or doing laps in the shared pool, you can get your water fix on the lake itself, just a few steps away.

Inside the condo, you'll have soothing views of the lush pines and lake from the townhouse's private patio with ample seating for all eight guests. Cook a fresh catch on the gas grill to enjoy. The fully stocked kitchen has all your plates and flatware, and even a dishwasher to take care of them all. In colder months, take your dinners indoors at the window-facing dining table or breakfast bar.

In the great room, sink down into one of the cushy couches for a DVD or cable sports game on the flatscreen TV after a round of tennis on site. Bring your favorite cocoa and sip it from mugs before the gas fireplace after a day at Echo Valley.

Eight guests will be accommodated among the three bedrooms and plenty of beds: find three twins (great for the young ones), two queens, one full, a king, and even a sleeper sofa. Altogether, everyone will have plenty of room to curl up for the night.

Ease your muscles in either the shared hot tub, or the deep jetted tub! In the home's bathroom, you can soak as long as you please in privacy.

Need to freshen up your vacation wardrobe? Toss it in the private washer and dryer. WiFi is also available, but please note that it can be spotty in this area. Use that to your advantage to totally unplug and unwind.

While you'll have Lake Chelan nearly at your feet, you also may want to explore all the area has to offer. Try fishing at Wapato Lake, just four miles away. Bring your clubs to golf, around seven miles away. Echo Valley Ski Area up north is popular in winter. One of the most popular draws in the area is the Lady of the Lake ferry to Stehekin, a quaint town only accessible by watercraft. Just be sure to check the ferry schedules ahead of time. Wherever you go, the hot tub will be waiting when you return.

Consider this Lake Chelan vacation rental for your next getaway - you won't be disappointed.

Comfortable 2-level at Wapato Point with an amazing view! The unit hasn’t been updated but we didn’t mind at all and it didn’t detract from our stay. Kitchen is well stocked and beds comfortable. Would stay again for sure!

The view was stunning.

Liked being walking distance to Manson downtown & view.
NANCY S. Apr 2022
We loved having the hot tub rughtboutside the front door. We loved the view, accessibility to the lake, to the market, and to the wineries. U liked that some basic spices, etc. we're available. Laundry was nice. I think that's all. 😊

Cute place and seller is easy and quick to talk to. Would give it a 5 start with just some little touches. Missing cabinet door, duck tape to fix things and almost every picture on the wall was cricked. The only part I would complain about is when we opened the dish washer the toilet scrubbers and plumber were in there.
But other than that very close to lots of wineries and if you had a big group there was lots of room.
Manager response:
Hi Tiffany. Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback. We're sorry to hear that there were a few details amiss during your stay, as this doesn't fall in line with our standards. We have taken these comments back to our local manager so that the correct parties can be addressed and ensure that it doesn't happen again. We do hope that you will consider us again in the future to host you for a truly relaxing getaway!

The location, view and grounds were awesome. The unit has sufficient furnishings and space with an easy walk to the beach and pool. It is an older unit that has not been updated and is showing it's wear. I rated a 3 because of the cleanliness of the unit. The floors, carpet and deck were very dirty and the grill was unusable.

Manager response:
We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy the home. Please know our guest services team is available 24 hours a day to assist with any cleanliness or maintenance issues you may have. We hope to have the chance to impress you in the future!

Nice three bedroom with great kitchen and set of kitchen appliances and utensils. It is a bit of a hike to the private beach, but it was not crowded even the first week of August which was important for social distancing. Make sure you reserve boats and jet skis a week or more in advance. No problem renting paddleboards, kayaks etc.
Meri C. Aug 2020
Beautiful view, spacious and very clean! We enjoyed all amenities with the condo. Never seem a chocolate scramble game before, grounds were kept beautifully. We would live to come back, highly recommend oooh and get Donna’s pie!

Great view, lots of room

We have stayed at this place several times. Mostly it is good, but not perfect. Downstairs is much colder than upstairs. Ice maker advertised, there is one but it does not work and has not for several years. Also, a fireplace is advertised and it has been covered over with a small fake one. No tissues provided. Partial toilet paper. Old rug has been replace with hardwood floor. Nice to have a hot tub on site. TV is big screen. Cork remover for wine is almost worthless, bring your own. Sofa makes into a hide a bed, it is ok if you do not have back problems. Enough beds for 12 people, though Wapato Point won't let you sign up for more than eight, though they don't seem to care too much unless you tell them you have more than eight. If you can't afford a home on the point, this is a good alternative.
Manager response:
Ronald, thank you for sharing your feedback! We apologize that some of the amenities offered did not suit your preferences. We have passed your comments to the local manager, and since then, the home's listing has been updated. We provide ice trays for our guests, and the electric fireplace is operating sufficiently. Please feel free to call next time if you need anything during your stay, and local staff can assist. We look forward to hosting you next time!

Just awesome place to spend some time with your friends or family
lindsie S. Nov 2018
the house was bigger than expected. The jacuzzi was clean and ready!! The appliances were very outdated but worked. There was plenty of sitting space and space in the kitchen for cooking and an array of cooking utensils/spices. The beds were clean and comfy, and extra blankets were easily found. I cannot wait to stay again, for the size the price wasn't too bad!! 1 king, two full/queens and two sets of twin over full bunk beds would make multiple families staying together easy and not over crowded.

Great location in Wapato Point
RONALD B. Jun 2018
Overall we enjoy using this unit because of the room in it and it is a lot less than a house out on the point. It is ice having your own hot tub and a good set up on the lower floor for the two families with young kids. Lots of room on the deck for everyone to sit. Also have use of the indoor pool and the activity kiosk. Glad they put in hardwood floors to replace the rug. Wished the upstairs and downstairs could be kept at the same temperature, it sometimes gets cold downstairs. Also wish they had a fridge that made ice in other than ice cube trays. All in all it is the best fit for us and this was our third year staying in this unit.
Kevin R. May 2018
The place was great with plenty of room and beds for everyone! We enjoyed sitting on the porch both in the morning and the evening enjoying the weather and relaxing sounds of the birds.
Anita N. Jan 2018
Wapato Point has always been an awesome place to stay, so much to do on the grounds and beyond!! This unit is perfect for a large family or multi families. Master bedroom upstairs with a full bathroom. 2 bedrooms downstairs with one full bathroom. Master has a King bed, both bedrooms downstairs have a queen and bunk beds. One set of the bunks has a double bed on the bottom. If you think you may do laundry, bring soap, etc. There are spices but we brought our own, not sure what was there. Living room and one bdrm downstairs has large flat screen tv's, master has a small tv. LOVED our stay, would go back again.
Lacey L. Dec 2017
We enjoyed our stay in this large condo. It has a great view and faces away from the other condos which is refreshing for a resort setting. We enjoyed the kitchen and the large bedrooms were nice and fit our whole family. The hot tub didn’t get hot which was a little disappointing. Great location!
Hongmai B. Aug 2017
Open spacious condo for our 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids ) with a beautiful view. The resort has lots for The kids to do. The only thing was that the rooms downstair were cold.
Mikale O. Jul 2017
Love our time in Manson always however this unit needs a major upgrade/cleaning as the carpets are stained and the appliances need an update. A/c needs to remain at 76 degrees so it won't freeze- which means it's warm in the unit. Love the view and deck (but needs a deep cleaning) and the yards are amazing.
Heather W. Jul 2017
Our girl scout troop had a great time! Everything in the house was great and activities were close by. There were so many things to do in the area, we ran out of time. I can't wait to go back again! The views were great and so relaxing.
Jenaferre J. Jun 2017
There was not much to do in Manson besides wine tasting. We prefer to be in Chelan so we can walk around the shops and have more choices for restaurants.

The condo was nice enough. There were throw rugs everywhere that were awful trip hazards. We had to roll a few of them up because the kids and adults were constantly tripping. We discovered the filthy carpet underneath so we understood the reason for the rugs but a good carpet clean would help.

The furnace/ac unit was very strange. It wasn't that hot when we were there (June 11th-14th 2017), the hottest day was only 84 but the condo became incredibly stuffy if the air wasn't on. Then, the downstairs would get freezing (60 degrees) when the upstairs was comfortable (75).
The ice maker in the freezer didn't work either. There were spider webs in all the corners which could have easily been taken care of. Other than these items, the condo was satisfactory. The beds were comfortable enough, so were the sofas. Plenty of dining seating at the table inside or out. We didn't use the bar stools as they did not seem very sturdy and they were too high for the 2 and 4 year old to sit at. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean.

Also, there were ant bait containers left on the floor behind the front door. We didn't see them until the 2 year old picked one up and began trying to drink it. After a call to poison control, we were relieved to find out he couldn't have gotten enough to make him sick but it was quite a fright. It would have been nice if a sign was posted to keep an eye out for the ant bait if small children were in the house.

Sarah at Vacasa was wonderful! We had an issue with Wapato Point at check in. They told us that the owners were in the condo we had reserved. The check in person at Wapato was going to put us in the neighboring condo. I called Vacasa and told them what was going on and apparently, Wapato had wrong paperwork. Sarah at Vacasa had just been at our condo and assured me that it was empty and ready for us. Turns out the neighboring condo was the one with the owner in it. It caused about a 30 minute delay after an already long trip so it was frustrating but was worked out.
The other problem was that once we got into our condo, the kids wanted to go directly to the pool (of course!). We walked over to the pool to discover that you need a key card to get in. So my hubby walked down to get key cards, came back to the pool and they still didn't work. That was very frustrating.

The communication between Wapato and Vacasa seemed to have trouble. The stress and fear of being told our condo was occupied at check in should not have happened. Other than this issue, we enjoyed working with Vacasa.

The other thing of note is that the condo is quite a walk up hill from the beach/playground/putt-putt course. We had a 4 year old and a 2 year old with us along with two 13 year old girls. Lugging all of our beach and sand toys down to the lake and back was frustrating. We ended up driving the last day we were there. I wasn't aware of how far the amenities were from the condo or I would have chosen a different one. Also, the rental kiosk closed at 6 and everything had to be returned by 5:30. We had tried to go rent kayaks one day but there was a high-wind warning. So the next afternoon, we went down about 4:30 to rent bikes but were told they had to be back in an hour. I'm not sure if the hours are longer later in the summer but we would have like to see it stay open until 8 or so. Also, the 13 year olds were not allowed to rent bicycles without an adult there to sign for them.
We spent most the time in the pool because of these two factors.
Overall, it was an OK condo. If you don't plan to spend much time at the beach or don't mind driving it's location is ok. I don't think we would rent the same one again but may try one closer to the beach.
Manager response:
We apologize for any inconveniences this guest experienced during their stay. The property manager has checked that all ant traps are out of reach of small children. A carpet cleaning has been scheduled, and we have spoken with the office about the registration confusion in hopes this will not happen again. It was discovered that several vents were closed which were preventing proper air flow in the home. We apologize for the discomfort this guest experienced due to this.

Big Condo with lots of room. Great view of the Lake and very quite area !
Aarik B. May 2017
With the price its a great location for 3-8 people
Anders R. Apr 2017
More privacy, deck and patio views over orchards and lake. Neighbors friendly and respectful. Well furnished kitchen, and accomodations.
Tracy D. Apr 2017
We had a great time in this unit! It was very quiet and peaceful. We have stayed multiple times in the Wapato Point resort, and we found his unit wonderful. It was very clean, had a great view, allows you to use the rest of the resort, and it is removed enough from the main resort to offer privacy and quiet.

The local agent was very prompt and helpful whe a smoke alarm started chirping one night.

We will be back!

You cannot miss with this beautiful home if you enjoy cozy winters watching the snow fall on an amazing lake!!! The fireplace, (gas), was a wonderful addition. Having said that, call ahead to the PIC, (person in charge), of the property to make sure they have cleared walkways, and the lighting is properly working. You may also want to request ice-melt be applied to the sidewalks, and also that the snow is removed from the hot tub. Other than the stress of going in/out of the unit, we had a wonderful relaxing time in the condo. Very clean, which was a pleasant surprise.
Jesse B. Jan 2017
This house has amazing potential. Great view, hot tub, great entertainment systems and plenty of comfortable space. The Wapato Point experience is amazing! The owners of this home need to do a maintenance check. Cabinets about to fall off their hinges, ice maker did not work, wobbly bunk bed and several light bulbs out. This in no way effected our stay, we are huge fans of Wapato Point and Lake Chelan. The experience is still 5 stars, but not everyone is as easy going, some guests may not like these maintenance issues.
Manager response:
We are glad to see this guest enjoyed their time in this home. The Property Manager has tightened all cabinets, fixed the ice maker, tightened the bunk beds, and replaced the lights. Thank you!
Sakeus B. Oct 2016
Solid spot with a great view, a short walk from Manson (even in the rain) and an even shorter walk to multiple wine tasting spots. We went in the office season and it was still a great time.
Helen E. Oct 2016
The place was clean, the kitchen could be better equipped but overall it was very pleasant.
Ron B. Sep 2016
We have been going to Wapato Point since the early 90's and have stayed in Halmalka units several times as our own family has outgrown our own condo. 512A is unusual in that it has a hot tub. The owners provide lots of bedding, dishes, glasses, etc. and if you call Vacasa they do their best to make you happy. The layout of this unit is the same as all of the 3 bedroom units. It is nice to have a laundry facility in the unit. The deck provides lots of seating capacity. The TV is large compared to most units. The unit has its own router and wi fi, good signal. There was some maintenance needed and there is some wear, but unless you demand spot on new of everything, you should enjoy this unit and all that the area and Wapato Point has to offer. Be noted, the central air conditioning does both the upstairs and downstairs, which ends up with the downstairs being cooler. We plan on returning.
Nancy W. Sep 2016
We were there 5 days for our daughter's wedding. It was such a whirlwind, that we didn't really have time to explore/enjoy the facilities--we'll just have to come back! Our unit was very comfortable (except for the temperature problem) and well-equipped, though. Beautiful location!
Michelle K. Aug 2016
Great vacation spot for a family!
Janet H. Aug 2016
great place for 3 couples and a small child. Hot tub and front deck great. We loved the location, would stay again but would bring our own knife and cutting board.
Adra D. Jul 2016
Lots to do and a spectacular view from this property!
Cheryl C. Jul 2016
This unit was perfect for my family of children, spouses and grandkids. My husband loved sitting and enjoying the gorgeous.
Chan C. Jul 2016
Great location. Amazing view of lake.
Lisa M. Jul 2016
Very nice vacation spot
Deborah W. Jul 2016
We had a wonderful time! The property location and grounds are perfect. Lots of options to entertain the kids here. We will definitely come back!
Nanc;y C. May 2016
We stayed in the Halmalka units for a week. There were 5 adults and 2 young children in our group.(3 families). Everything was comfortable and as described. The unit is slightly dated - sink fixtures, older model dishwasher, air conditioner that struggled to keep the room cool, but all was in worrking order. The real reason to stay here, however, is the resort which is a wonderful place to entertain young children with play areas, sandy beach, equipment rentals, swimming pools, etc. Another plus was the excellent rate which was cheaper through Vacasa than at the resort main office.
Annah L. Apr 2016
Great place to relax and a perfect place for families.
