Beautifully positioned in a grove of pine and aspen trees, this gorgeous home in Black Butte Ranch provides access to the community's amazing amenities, a private hot tub, and plentiful windows that let in the Central Oregon sunshine. Step inside to find a bright, spacious living area that's full of contemporary style, where you can have a seat on one of the plush couches, light a fire in the wood stove, and spend a cozy evening sharing stories with your guests. Use the gas grill to cook up a wonderful meal outside, watch as the kids run around the large grassy area, or retreat to the soothing hot tub and let the bubbling water ease away any lingering stress.

The house was great for our family and the location was the best.
David P. Jul 2022
Loved the surrounding aspen trees in the back house and location near recreation center.
Had minor issue on arrival with hot tub but quick response so absolutely no issue.
We had a lovely time

We loved this home. It was well stocked with cook wear, bake wear, and utensils. The layout was wonderful for 2 families. The mattresses were not comfortable, but we knew that based on past reviews. We purchased a mattress topper for the master and brought our own blanket and pillows.

The view was unbeatable. The location was perfect. Walking distance to the pool and playground. The water pressure was FANTASTIC.

There were plenty of board games provided. Cable tv. Disney plus. Netflix.

Overall we would absolutely book this home again and would recommend to anyone looking for a multi family or multi generational home.

The layout, back yard view and nature (coyote, lots of deer, wild turkeys) etc.

This is a lovely home in a great location. We had two families and the layout was great and everyone was comfortable. However, the bedding is ancient and wasn't great quality to begin with and the couches are tired and bottomless. I suspect you would be horrified if they were a lighter color. Overall there is a mismatch between the quality of the actual home and some of the furnishings. They are asking a premium price for this home. It would easily be worth it if these things were addressed.
Manager response:
Hello Colby! We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local manager who will work with our homeowner to make necessary upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!

We have stayed multiple times in this home, and appreciate the layout and setting, but this will be the last time we can stay here unless the home has some major updates:
The beds are very uncomfortable and the sheets are old and very rough to the point we didn’t want to use them or the towels! Several fluorescent light fixtures in the main bedroom downstairs were not functioning. The home was only lightly cleaned - there were mouse droppings and hair on the carpets, sticky drops of food in several areas on the woods floors around the dining table, and lint/dust everywhere. The plates (while very pretty pottery) have had so much use that many are now cracked, and repaired in places. This is unsanitary.
The stove is almost unusable at this point. Several years ago it was not good, but usable. It currently is so old that some burners do not function, and the ones that do work take many minutes to warm, and are almost impossible to set at the correct temp for cooking food.
The picnic table seems to be tossed into the overgrown weeds in the backyard, and sits currently at an angle tipped somewhat sideways.
The couches have also seen much better days, and are now so lived-in that they are unbearably uncomfortable.
The AC was very appreciated, and the ceiling fans, if they weren’t blowing so much dust.
For the price of this rental, we would need some serious upgrades to continue renting.
Manager response:
Hi, Melissa! We are disappointed to read you had so many concerns with your stay. The property manager has taken notes and will be addressing them as soon as our current guest vacates. Thank you!
Caroline B. Mar 2021
we had an amazing stay in the house. Great layout, clean, spacious and the kitchen well stocked. Its in a quiet corner but still close to the rec. center. We would def book this house again.
Thomas M. Jan 2021
A Black Butte Ranch home worth your time. Solid, cozy and very comfortable. Every amenity and more were provided, thoughtful and in a pristine environment.
Donald K. Jul 2020
This home is in a beautiful and peaceful setting and the back deck looks out on a lovely grove of Aspens. The house itself is in a great Black Butte location and very quiet as it is far from the main roads. The lack of a door to the master bedroom is a bit of a drawback, but not terrible. The master is a very nice space even without the door. All the other bedrooms were great and easily accommodated our family of six. Dinner on the back deck every night was a definite plus. We’d rent this house again.

We have stayed in this home twice in the last 3 years. We would rent it again. It's weaknesses are, the common area is small compared to what appears in the picture. The main downstairs bathrooms is cramped. And the heat upstairs and down is difficult to manage (there is no door between the two levels). It's strengths are the back deck view is private and beautiful with an Aspen Grove behind it. It's hot tub is right off a main bedroom downstairs, but is private from any neighbors and it is an easy walk to Glaze Meadow Pool which is open year round.
Again it's a great place, it's smaller than the pictures, but we thought it was worth renting and would do so again.
Manager response:
We are glad you loved this home and we can't wait to host you again!
Kenan S. Oct 2019
Loved the view and hot tub and location.
Catherine K. Aug 2019
Walking distance to Glaze Meadow; 4 bedrooms; quiet cul de sac; great back view
Melissa M. Jun 2019
Nice home.
Bruce B. May 2019
Over-all layout.
Mark B. Dec 2018
The house has amazing views and the master suite is fantastic.
Michael James M. Sep 2018
This is a nice, spacious home that has a setup that is well suited for two families with children. Bunk beds and two master suites work well. Quiet and private with good access to the recreation center and golf course. Lovely place to stay and the Black Butte Resort is great!
Helen M. Jul 2018
Good size house but showing some signs of wear and tear especially appliances.
Rochelle J. Apr 2018
This home is an ideal location if you plan to use the glaze meadow complex. The kids were able to just walk or bike a very short distance to the pools and park. Tennis courts are just right around the corner too. Management (Greg) was great. Everything from check in to offering a later checkout was flawless. The home fit the 8 of us perfectly and was very cozy. Hot tub on the back deck was a nice touch. Kitchen was pretty well stocked as was linens and towels. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning.
Caroline M. Mar 2018
We loved the house and our stay in Black Butte Ranch. I just have a hard time with the $195 cleaning fee. The house was clean, but we did find a pair of underwear in one of the bedrooms. This is not acceptable when you are paying that kind of money.
Manager response:
We apologize for the oversight and have followed-up with housekeeping. We are glad to see this guest otherwise enjoyed the home!
Emily L. Feb 2018
Great house w/ great location. The kids loved the hot tub. No bikes or sleds/games for kids so just keep in mind.
Mandy S. Jan 2018
This home was absolutely wonderful for us - two families of four. Easy walk to swimming pool and rec center. Made for a relaxing getaway in the heart of a gorgeous area close to skiing, hiking, dining, and so much more.
James M. Oct 2017
Wonderful house on the edge of Black Butte Ranch that delivers everything the pictures promise. Privacy, comfort, and convenience make this a home I'd come back to again anytime.
Kate R. Sep 2017
This house was perfect for our stay. We had two families with young kids and the layout was great. The house was very clean and well appointed, and the view out the back of the house was AMAZING! So peaceful and beautiful. The hot tub was an awesome bonus - sitting out there at night under a million stars was breathtaking. The quiet cul de sac was a great spot for the kids to bike ride and play, and we loved being a short walk from Glaze Meadow pool and play ground. We will definitely stay here again!
Stephen L. Sep 2017
we had a great time love the house location we want to rent it again next year..
Denise H. Aug 2017
We loved our first time at Black Butte ranch and will return.
Georgina A. Aug 2017
We had a nice stay in this house. The Air Conditioning was excellent. House clean and well kept up. On site manager was very helpful and professional. This is a great house for families. Within walking distance to Glaze Meadow sports center. Bike paths close. I would go back to this house.
Ann M. Jun 2017
Our extended family of 8 was more than comfortable at this listing. The pictures don't do it justice. It was spacious, clean, with a kitchen that was amply supplied so that we could prepare a feast.
The back deck overlooks a meadow with quaking aspen and lots of wildlife. This is where we spent most of our time.
Black Butte has a variety of activities. But we were so comfortable in the house that we didn't get out much except for early morning walks.
We would definitely stay here again.
Jim A. Jun 2017
Pictures made the house look so it was plenty of room but in reality we felt like we where on top of each other all three days.

House sucked.
Juliana D. May 2017
The Aspen Grove house was very spacious and comfortable (if a bit shabby) and fit two families easily. Because the back of the house faces a grove of Aspen trees it felt more private than some of the other rentals and a pair of dear walked through almost every day. The location of the house is perfect as it is a short walk to the Glaze Meadow Pool and Rec. Center. wW actually preferred this pool to the fancier Lakeside Pool. You can also rent bikes at the Rec. Center or use the Gym. The Black Butte Ranch is fun and beautiful overall, but there are also many amazing hiking trails close to the Ranch and the cute town of Sisters is just 10 minute away. We had a great time and are already trying to figure out when we can visit again.
Rebecca C. Apr 2017
We rented this home for a Sister's Retreat and loved every minute of it. We were looking for a rustic but newer cabin feel and got just that. It is not new construction, but the natural wood look made it cozy. We had the wood stove on the whole time, with plenty of wood in the garage. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. The kitchen had plenty of space and everything we needed, and there were plenty of beds. The view of the grove of Aspens in the back was wonderful. Plenty of parking and walking paths. All around great rental. (just beware of the resort fees that are collected at the Welcome Center upon arrival)
Cheryll L. Nov 2016
This home and location was amazing. The view is stunning. A great peaceful place to relax and enjoy family.
Nitiyah B. Aug 2016
Private, peaceful and serene environment.
Karen B. Aug 2016
The location is perfect and the scenery can't be beat.
Simon T. Jul 2016
Great prop. Second time here.
Anastacia W. Jul 2016
Great property! Highly recommend!
DeAnn O. Feb 2016
We had a great weekend skiing, snowboarding and dining out on Valentine's Day. The house is very open and lots of room. We enjoyed out time.
Gina H. Feb 2016
We were initially disappointed bc the house does not live up to the photos (it is smaller and less luxurious than the photos suggest). But we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent the house again. The property is well situated. it's walking distance to GM Rec Center and is adjacent to a good-sized, flat yard with beautiful birch trees and views of Black Butte. The bathrooms have been nicely updated. Master bedroom is huge. The main living area is also spacious, and open plan: perfect for families.
Melanie H. Jan 2016
It was a great house. Plenty of room for the eight of us.
