Awesome lakefront view with cozy home and fireplace. Doesn’t get any better!

The actual rental was really wonderful. Location was close to a handful of places to eat and a great coffee spot, but secluded from the hubub of South Lake Tahoe, and only a 15 minute drive to Tahoe City to shop and dine. A majority of the beds were memory foam and felt new, minus the master, which was still reported to be comfortable! The Amenities were good, but definitely basic. There was a coffee pot AND a keurig with a few k-cups, but it would have been nice to have a bag of local coffee for the pot, or some of the bonuses I`ve seen at other rentals, especially at the price point. The hot tub was clean and hot, the house was very clean as well. My biggest gripe amenity-wise was that there was only 1 life jacket and 2 wood paddles and one plastic one for the boats, and it would have been nice to have slightly more/better equipment - eyeballing the neighbors` paddleboard and double-paddle dinghy rowboat situation made me feel like ours was lacking slightly. Turnkey provided good service during my stay via text.
HOWEVER, we booked the house RIGHT before covid hit, and when it came to trying to re-book or cancel, Turnkey rules were SO stringent even when AIRBnB and HomeAway were making exceptions and trying to help people. We were told to get the same price we HAD to rebook the same dates at the same house the following year. We were not ABLE to because the homeowner had the house blocked off for several months, so we were forced to book on the last possible date Turnkey would allow us to (9/30/21) and subsequently charged something like $800 more, even though none of it was our fault. If you ever book a Turnkey property, I recommend purchasing additional trip insurance because dealing with rescheduling was an absolute nightmare. Saw comments from others about this too on various platforms when the fires were happening. It`s too bad, because the place was great.

Whoever did the cleaning was in a hurry...left maintenance closet open, tape roll on the floor attached to carpet taped, laundry room was cluttered, no laundry soap, Only 1 trash bag and several pans were really bad

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this cute and cozy house. The private pier was the best part of this rental. We are looking forward to renting this place again in the summer. One little thing to say about the condition is the hot tub water wasn`t clean and looked a little cloudy.

Great location, clean and secured home. Only complaint was that the propane was almost empty , next day in the afternoon they brought 2 full ones.

First off the house and property are great and as described, you really cant beat a house on the lake with a private dock. The disappointment came with a foul smelling hot tub. A previous review also said the hot tub was broken so this should have been on the property managers radar. They did try and get it fixed but it ended up with us having a service guy for a half of a day and then a cold tub for the remainder of our stay. With that said the house is very well equipped and we will be back but I will be sure to ask for service of the hot tub prior to arrival.

We stayed here in February and skied at Homewood. It`s a super quick walk to the resort (even easy for young kids) and a great way to end the day is with a hot tub soak overlooking the lake.
The house has a rustic charm to it. It has everything you would need to cook and create family memories.
The fireplace and downstairs heater did not work. Someone came to look at it but was not able to fix either and no one returned my follow up messages. This was a disappointment as there was a 20-degree difference between upstairs (SO HOT) and downstairs (SO COLD) and the downstairs heater would’ve been great to dry our snow boots and clothes.

The Good: Beautiful setting. Great location. Killer view. Charming home that slept 2 families comfortably.
The Bad: Fireplace was broken. No heat downstairs. Property management slow to provide space heaters. We froze the 1st day and had to use cumbersome space heaters. There is a rodent infestation in the living room and kitchen. After cleaning of the hot tub, it never heated enough to use again on the final night.
