Under vaulted ceilings, enjoy preparing delicious dishes in the gourmet kitchen, complete with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a vast amount of utensils and kitchenware.

After a day spent exploring the great outdoors, cozy up in front of the living room's wood stove - a cup of cocoa in hand and nature views filling your vision. The Lodge's size makes it perfect for family vacations, celebrations, ceremonies, and retreats. A pool table, game table, and a large TV offer fabulous entertaining options, and the home's well-stocked library has novels that'll interest every member of the family.

The cabin's sleeping quarters are equally plush, lined with soft linens and comfortable mattresses. The retreat's amenities extend to a private washer/dryer, partial air-conditioning, and internet access.

When exploring the area, be sure to check out the Cradle of Forestry Overlook, Sliding Rock, the Cradle of Forestry in America Museum, State Rock Creek, and Springdale Resort. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only seven miles away and sports 469 miles of scenic views of the Appalachian Highlands. On the way there, fly fish in the Pigeon River or go for a hike at Looking Glass Falls. On the subject of hiking, Cold Mountain houses the famous Great Balsam Mountains, whose summit takes seven hours to reach. After your exciting outdoor adventures, stop off in Waynesville and Canton to pick up something at the general store for everyone to enjoy later.
