Overall, we had a good stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The condo has a lot going for it — great beach access, amazing views, plenty of space, comfortable king bedrooms, and a nice balcony setup. It definitely shows its age in some areas, but the location and overall layout still made for an enjoyable trip.
That said, there are several maintenance and deep-cleaning issues that future guests and management should be aware of. The biggest concern was the dryer. Part of the gasket is missing, and some of our clothing got caught and damaged. There is also significant lint buildup that needs deep cleaning.
Other maintenance issues included loose doorknobs, loose toilets, a split accordion door in the second king bedroom that limits privacy, and air leaks from both the balcony door (unless fully latched) and a walkway-facing window. The dog-proof balcony paneling also needs to be resecured, as small dogs can fit through the corner opening. We temporarily fixed it ourselves with zip ties and extra paneling.
If traveling with pets, especially small dogs, I strongly recommend bringing puppy pads plus a grass pad/sod setup for the balcony.
The condo kitchen could also use a better stocking of dishes and serving/prep bowls. There were only about 8 plates and not enough bowls for a larger group, so expect to either run the dishwasher multiple times a day or bring paper products.
Things future guests will likely want to bring or buy:
Paper towels & napkins
Paper plates, etc.
Dishwasher soap
Kitchen scrubber/sponge
Laundry detergent & fabric sheets
Kitchen garbage liners
Salt & pepper
Cutting board
Bedside fans - no ac vents in front bedroom
Favorite kitchen gadgets. The blender and knife situation is pretty good.
Ice and bottled water if you are picky about water taste
The humidifier was definitely loud, but honestly I would still rather have one than not have one.
The elevator situation was a major issue during our stay. Only one elevator was working, and it stopped for about an hour while we were there. Since I cannot climb stairs due to neurological issues, I was stuck in the condo during that time. The elevator doors were also malfunctioning, and management said service had been called. We experienced similar elevator problems in another Saida Tower building during a previous stay as well, so this may be an ongoing property-wide concern.
We also experienced an internet outage for about three days during our stay because the router had to be replaced. Property management did bring in a technician, so they were actively addressing it, but it was still a significant inconvenience for anyone needing reliable Wi-Fi. My plan ran out of data before we made it back home because of this issue.
Overall, this condo has good bones, a great location, and enough positives that we would stay again. However, it could really benefit from a deep cleaning, some updated maintenance, and attention to a few safety and accessibility concerns.
