We stayed here for a weekend of skiing after Christmas.
The photos in the listing are real. There were no surprises when we got there. The cabin is fully equipped with a deliberate rustic decor. There's even a custom made lamp that sits on a tree stick. Cool. The kitchen had everything - just bring your own condiments and tea/coffee. The TVs work. The heating works, the machines work.
There's tons of space inside. In fact one person declined the bunker bed and slept comfortably in the smaller space behind the kitchen, so I guess in a way you could say the place has 5 sleeping rooms. The backyard is huge and in the warmer months you'd probably enjoy roasting corn/marshmallows on the fire by the barn.
City dwellers will enjoy very much the quiet and privacy that this place offers while you're still in a community. No peeking neighbors. It really felt like we had our own little hideaway near Deep Creek Lake.
We had 2 cars but you could easily park 6, even though the listing said 4 spots.
One thing I'd say is that the front entrance will be tough if someone in your group uses a wheelchair, although it may still work through the other entrance. Also be aware that the shower in the second bathroom has a magnetic door and it is not intuitive. Be firm but gentle. Five stars fully deserved.
