This home was private, clean, well-stocked, and comfortable.
Heads-up: Apple Maps provide better directions than Google. It was hard for us to figure it out the exact location in the dark -- there are three driveways right next to each other down a very remote road and this driveway was in the middle. The turn onto the side road is shortly after the freeway exit -- it was hard to see in the dark with a lot of traffic (and road construction in Dec. 2024), and if you miss it, you can't turn around until you are a few miles up the mountain. So pay attention and don't rush!
The layout of the home is great, with a very large and open living space and big windows looking out on the lake. Bedrooms were on either side of the living space, providing elbow-room and privacy. The home is nicely updated and was immaculate when we arrived. The kitchen is well-stocked with many pots and pans and sufficient dishes, glassware, and flatware. The couch is more comfortable than you might expect, based on the picture and other reviews. We found the beds very comfy. There were a couple of quirks, as there are for most places, but nothing that would stop us from coming back or discouraging others to stay here.
We are glad we found this place and were able to enjoy a couple of quiet down days, while still being plenty near groceries and a couple of restaurants plus the outlet mall and many options to explore nature. Thank you!
