This was by far the nicest place we've stayed on vacation in 22 years. The decor was beautiful, tastefully, and cozy at the same time. The unit was modern without being cold and sterile. The bed is very firm and the pillows very soft. They are dog friendly and have so many cute things to make a dog comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of extra blankets and pillows. On check in I saw a cute box that said power outage and boy was it useful- we were out of power for almost 9 hours. The jacuzzi tub was clean and enough hot water to fill it up. The gas fireplace did smell very strongly of gas both times I tried to use it, so much so that we had to open the doors and air the place out- that sucked at midnight when it was getting colder with no power. The back door is very very hard to open and close, and rain come in under. Check out time is 10AM and they could not accommodate a late checkout. That means you have to get up, pack, clean and start the dishwasher and strip the bed to start the laundry for them sponsored no sleeping in on your last vacation day. Overall this is a beautiful unit to rent and the owners have gone above and beyond to make it comfortable.
