We stayed 3 nights at this wonderful rental, and it exceeded expectations. Older reviews are prior to it being purchased by current owners, and they have obviously made many improvements and added home amenities that really made our stay fun.
View is beautiful, deck is large and right off main living room; it also has a gate on the stairs leading down to the fire pit and hot tub.
Many board games, kayaks, water tubes, corn hole, darts - all great amenities to enhance your time on the lake.
Screened in patio off the kitchen is awesome.
Kitchen is decently equipped if you enjoy cooking (which we cooked every night we stayed here). Large dining room table that can comfortably seat 6-8.

We walked in to see the most beautiful place at Lake anna. we go to Lake Anna every year. this time our mouth dropped open just as soon we saw the house. every room had huge Tv, beautiful Bed, also the house was spotless.
down stairs was the best part, the basement had a movie theater atmosphere. it was truly heaven for few days. we were sad to leave. we took care of this place like it was ours because we were so happy. The owner outdid her or himself. i will come back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay here. House was very clean and is stocked with kitchenware, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
All appliances are up to date and work great. Only thing that didn’t work was the lights in the boat house. So make sure you get out what you need during the day prior to any night excursions.
Large TV in the living room. TV has all the streaming channels and you can cast directly from your phone. You have another TV in the bedroom downstairs with the same set up as the tv in the living room. The rooms upstairs do not have TVs.
You are close to everything. The Cove is a great bar and restaurant for live music and crab legs. Tim’s Rivershore and Callie’s Opie’s are right down the road.
You have a food lion and shopping center with pizza, Chinese food and a gas station and convenience store right up the road with some decent fried chicken.
Your access to the lake is perfect. What makes this place a winner in our opinion is that you have access to two paddle boards and 2 kayaks. We spent two full days out on the water exploring. It was an amazing time.
Definitely bring fishing rods, there are huge fish that gather right under your dock.
The fire pit overlooks the lake and we had an amazing time making s’mores. You can buy s’more kits at the food lion for under $6.
Only somewhat negative review to this place is that there is not curtain or blinds for the slide glass doors in the living room. If you are watching tv in the evening or day, you can see directly into the house. May not be an issue for most, but when you’re here as a couple, privacy is nice.
Bring bug spray. This is the woods and you’ll definitely need it.
Great place for a couples retreat or small family trip.
