The veins and near to ski lifts
Joshua F. | Mar 2026
So Dad 54, two sons 15 & 12 visited to ski and fish. The home itself is gorgeous and had plenty of room. The location (for our use) was ideal as there is a gorgeous part of the river just behind the house. We used the grill but not the hot tub. LOVED the beaver family in the water as well as the geese. Good proximity to Wolf Creek for skiing as well as the National Parks nearby. If you are coming up from the Pagosa side (like us) you'd be wise to load up on food staples before arriving as there are limited food/grocery options in South Fork. Overall ranking 5/5 between us fellas but also lady friendly.
