Recent San Francisco Bay Area vacation rental reviews

Our family has been celebrating Thanksgiving at Sea Ranch for the past 39 years and we have rented many different homes. This was the first time to try this home and we very much enjoyed our stay! The view/sound of the ocean from the back deck was surprisingly lovely with gorgeous sunsets. Being surrounded by trees and fields of nature was serene. The interior of the home was clean, pleasant and usable. We wish there had been a garbage disposal and a better-equipped kitchen. The mini split heater did a great job of heating the upstairs (leave the bedroom doors open to allow the heated air to enter) and, given time, also heated the main living areas downstairs. However, the master bedroom downstairs remained unheated so bring warm pajamas and extra blankets if you stay in the colder months. The space heaters in both bathrooms and heated toilet seats were a fun surprise that made the bathrooms extra warm. We tried to use the TV and could not get service. The house was quiet and relaxing and access to the pathways through the redwood forest was a quick drive away. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, well-appointed, outstandingly located. A wonderful stay. Thank you!!

Beautiful water and sunset views from most rooms in this home. We also appreciated how close the location is to the hiking trail. Being at the end of a closed street, this home is extremely quiet and peaceful. The neighboring homes are mostly at a distance so the home feels very private. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious for those that enjoy cooking. The main downside for us was having only one bathroom for our group of four adults. We managed to make it work for our two night stay. We would definitely book this home again.
