This was a fabulous place to stay. Its tiny patio and sliding glass door are some 40 feet from the edge of a cliff looking out over the ocean, with the precipitous peaks behind Hanae off to the left, over which the sun set in January (in warmer seasons I expect you'd see it drop into the sea). The surf below provides a delightful soundtrack. The lawn between is ivisited by a range of interesting birds: endangered native Nene geese, bright red-crested tropical "cardinals" (Paroaria coronata), Lace Necked Doves, and many others.
The condo is quite comfortable, in excellent repair, and very clean, It is well off the (not so busy anyway) road, visually isolated from its neighbors, and generally quiet. The large TV in the bedroom was not connected to internet for streaming, though the larger one in the Living Room was. The ceiling fans have hard-to-notice speed controls next to their wall switches. January was mild-temperatured, so they were less important, and we did not use the AC in the bedroom, but it works.
The bathroom / laundry had a beautiful shower, with hiqu-quality toiletries, detergent pods, Kleenex much appreciated. The kitchen is well appointed and we had all dinners and breakfasts there; there were a few nice-to-have spices and condiments in the cupboard (though I was glad I brought some of my own) and a small electric grill on the patio. You can shop in Princeville, or slightly less expensively in Lihue or Kapaa.
