Incredible unobstructed view of Hanalei Bay! Great layout! Comfy beds! Best hot tub and refreshing adventure pool.

Awesome view from the balcony. Resort is older but pool and hot tub were still solid, and we loved the beach that’s just a walk down the hill. Food at the 2 restaurants is expensive (but so is everywhere on Kauai), quality is fine but nothing special. There’s no kitchen in this unit, which we knew going in, however I wish we had realized how limited food options were in Princeville/Hanalei area. Almost everything closes on Sundays/Mondays, and the places that remain open can get really crowded, so it would have been nice to have a small kitchen. Also, the front desk staff do not seem super friendly to folks renting out these condos — we had a couple questions (checking in 30mon early, how to get to beaches in the area, etc) and got some rather cold responses. I’m not super picky about always getting high-touch, over the top service, and I guess I get it since we rented through Vacasa rather than the resort, but if the resort wants to get a cut via their resort/parking/check in fees (about $200 in total for 3 nights), it would have been nice to at least be treated like we weren’t a nuisance. Overall still a 5/5 experience, the location is really something else. I wouldn’t have paid the cash rate for it (but I am cheap), was definitely a great use of points though.
